BA Hindi at Mahatma Gandhi College, Trivandrum Offline Course

BA Hindi is a Full-Time Three-Years Course and it is offered by  University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram.

The Department of Hindi is one of the Research departments. The department imparts sound base and results-oriented coaching to the students using modern linguistic tools. The well-stocked library, use of audio-visual aids and the hard work of a team of highly qualified faculty have enabled the dept. to maintain a high standard in Hindi teaching.

An effective teaching-learning and tutorial system is in force in the dept.T est papers, assignments and group discussions are organized to monitor the academic performance of the students. The teachers work in unison and their teamwork is the secret of the success of the dept. The department also holds the distinction of every member of the faculty having Ph.D. degree.

Eminent academic and writer Dr. Chandrasekharan Nair was a member of our faculty and led this dept. for long. He became the decorated Chairman of the Hindi Sahitya Academy. He also guided a few scholars to obtain a Ph.D. degree. Dr.J.Ramachandran Nair, another renowned academician, who contributed a lot for the language, also served our department for many years.
