College aesthetics are real nice campus it breathable like not crowdy like greeny granny campus vibe i just love that peacock garden then rock garden then fountain garden and every plants and all its soo good
I m studying maths honors teaching quality is fabulous. I don't think so like it doesnt offer much things only that boring cirriculum.npt ready for job one like I just feels skill less sometimes but otherwise only for studies theoretical it's good
Ok ok it's like safe secure I feel good but just timetable sucks and placement are not top notch just your social media and all internship only all not make you get a high paying job u undertand what I mean
It's cost around 16k I think it's ok as compare to most
It's like a best in studywise student and teacher relation are good it's safe everything is fab just want more internship opportunities
More industrial exposure
College infrastructure is not that good . Although infrastructure of new science blog is quite good , as it has pretty big rooms and good quality of rooms , good ventilation . Smart board is also available in some rooms .
Academic record of our college is very good . Professors in are college are highly qualified and highly experienced . They will guide you at every point of your life . But some teachers are not good enough they will never complete syllabus on time .
If you expect high placement from any college of delhi University then you are at a wrong place . Students do grab placement but the rate is very law . Placements mostly depends on you skills. If you have skills then you can grab a placement.
Worth every penny.
Preety good . Our fest is awesome.

The college has a good infrastructure and a supportive, well-qualified staff. Classrooms are well-maintained. However, there are issues with basic facilities like the washrooms , AC and canteen, which need improvement.
The academic structure is good with experianced faculies. Regular practicals and theory classes. Regular classes and timely completion of curriculums and helps students stay on track and perform well.
Placements for B.Sc. Physical Science with Computer Science are limited, but good technical skills and internships can open doors to decent job opportunities. And last year highest salary offered of 25 lakhs
For this corse fees is only 15000 and two semesters exam fees off Less than 1800 -1800 And it's worth bcoz of a good environment, fest workshops, internship programs
The best part of my collage its fests and specially annual fest rapsody . You can volunteer in fest and can join SU, NCC, NSS , fashion society, dance society, debating society, departmental society etc.And best thing there's no ragging in college Teachers and staff also good . It's locations is so good but the from metro or bus stand too college is not so safe but it can handle emergencies because in that area there are so many army offices, embassies .
The college provides all basic facilities and equipments to the student. Clean rooms and washrooms. Especially the new science block , it is recently built and have nice infrastructure. Whereas on the other hand the old block's classrooms gives you 3 idiots vibe. Library is well equipped with books. Wifi can also be accessed there. Also it has basketball ground and big playgrounds. Also the college is also known for its serene beauty n green environment. Hostel facility has also started. Labs are also big and well maintained.
There are some great teachers you'll meet here in maitreyi, ofcourse every teacher you meet won't be standing out on your expectations but trust me when I say this there are some faculty members who will help you in many ways. Even the lab staff is good.
Being honest i didn't participated in placement fair but yes the college had many big recruiters like Deloitte and Amazon during the job fair. Many students were selected and got placed with a good package.
Bsc Physical science with chemistry costed around 14-16 k per year which was ok and worth it.
Campus life is amazing here. Even though it's a women college but crowd here is amazing and diverse. Also the location of the college is amazing, situated around the embassy area of chanakyapuri.
the college infrastructure is quite nice, not very extravagant but average, the campus is clean , classrooms are clean, washrooms are well maintained, the college is situated in Chanakyapuri and is located nearby to the metro as well hence convenient to reach from the metro
the crowd that you will get here is also decent, since the admission is cuet based you will get peers who have scored around the same as of you , the teachers are well qualified and are really supportive, they will help you and guide you through everything
placements are quite average as though there are already a lot of companies coming however the number of students they pick up is low, more efforts should be made to help the students actually crack the placements and make them placement ready, average package is 4-5lpa
the fees is decent and at such low fees the quality of education offered is quite good, also its an all girls college and the location, crowd, infrastructure and all at such a low fees are a great deal
this college is loacted right in front of the infamous jesus and mary college, students usually hangout in the cafe coffee day near the hotel taj palace, satya niketan and cafe diggin etc, the fest is also quite grand , last year the famous singer Aastha gill came to the fest
The infrastructure of the old building is fine but the New science block (nsb) infrastructure is very good . Chemistry lab is not much fine but physics lab is good . We also have library in our college campus where all the books are available and also so many Ac is installed.
I am currently pursuing Bsc physical science with chemistry . I chose this subject because this course will give me clarity as to which subject I should master. The quality of teaching is generally good most of the professors are knowledgeable.
Honestly I don't know much about it but minimum packaging we got Rs 20 lakh here on campus placement in my course. 60% of college students are placed and rest of will go for their higher education. Yes my college is so supportive.
One of the most attractive things about Maitreyi College is its lush, green campus. The moment you enter, you're greeted by well-maintained gardens and shaded pathways that make the entire atmosphere peaceful and refreshing. Whether it’s the blooming flowers near the canteen or the calm courtyard areas where students sit and chat between classes, the greenery gives the campus a very welcoming and positive vibe. It feels like a quiet escape in the middle of Delhi’s hustle.
Talking about the Infrastructure is mid. Classrooms have basic amenities, but the library feels outdated (limited seating, old books). Sports facilities Barely exist—just a tiny ground. But the garden area is all about to tell your story or feeling to them.
Academics are solid, especially in Humanities and Commerce. English, Political Science, and Economics departments have some really passionate professors who go beyond textbooks. Science streams are decent, but labs could use upgrades.
Placement cell is practically ghosting. Most students rely on DU’s central drives or hustle for internships themselves. Commerce kids fare better, but Arts/Science students need to network hard. BBut now college is doing something for this.
For a Delhi University college, Maitreyi offers decent value for money, especially if you prioritize academics and campus life over luxury. Where It’s Worth It Compared to private colleges, DU’s fee structure is very budget-friendly. Maitreyi’s annual costs (including society fees) are reasonable. Quality Education Strong departments (English, Pol Sci, Commerce) with experienced faculty. You get DU’s reputation without the North Campus price tag. Societies & Exposure Debate, theatre, and eco-societies provide skills that rival expensive clubs elsewhere.
Maitreyi isn’t one of those glamorous DU colleges with Insta-worthy lawns, but it’s got heart. The crowd is a mix of studious nerds (front-benchers who know everything), chill back-benchers, and society enthusiasts who live for fests. Since it’s a girls' college, the energy is loud—expect endless chai breaks, canteen gossip, and last-minute photocopying before exams.
Nothing much
I think the campus of college should be better. But their teachers are so good they are very helpful.Old science block was not so good their washrooms are not even good in condition. New NSB is good .
I have a great experience there .Teachers are very helpful they motivate you to your growth and also guide you also But i think placement cell invite many companies so that students get placed and college should provide different skills to students so that they ready for industries.
Placement cell of our college is not so good and I think not even students get more package I think they should improve it and college also work on improving the skills of students they conduct seminars or webinars so that students get know what the trend is and what they should do for get that job.
According to money it is worthy Like the amount I paid according to that I get only that much. I think this is affordable and the college garden area also so good I think for my course the amount is 12000 pa .
Campus life is much better if you join societies ,meet new people make connections and also enjoy your college fest and also participate in them through this you get a network and visit new colleges, new places and explore the place in first year.
The infrastructure is okay but our garden is too beautiful and NSB rooms are better than many private colleges. We have proper labs , library and canteen which is in good condition and they provide the necessity to the students.
The professor are co-operative and help in every way possible ,they teach in such a way that it is understandable but sometimes they tend to cover the syllabus this sometimes creates stress on students.
As I'm pursuing B.com so placement that college offers is quite average and very few get placed at high CTC. It has seen that only commerce graduates get offer by placement cell of our college but those who are pursuing B.A , B.SC face difficulty during placement.
Definitely as my fees is 12 k per year which is very affordable and accessible to the students for their further studies.
It's fun , full of experience, engaging and also challenging.
It can be better in terms of placements and academics because these both are inter dependent.
