I think the campus of college should be better. But their teachers are so good they are very helpful.Old science block was not so good their washrooms are not even good in condition. New NSB is good .
I have a great experience there .Teachers are very helpful they motivate you to your growth and also guide you also But i think placement cell invite many companies so that students get placed and college should provide different skills to students so that they ready for industries.
Placement cell of our college is not so good and I think not even students get more package I think they should improve it and college also work on improving the skills of students they conduct seminars or webinars so that students get know what the trend is and what they should do for get that job.
According to money it is worthy Like the amount I paid according to that I get only that much. I think this is affordable and the college garden area also so good I think for my course the amount is 12000 pa .
Campus life is much better if you join societies ,meet new people make connections and also enjoy your college fest and also participate in them through this you get a network and visit new colleges, new places and explore the place in first year.
The infrastructure is okay but our garden is too beautiful and NSB rooms are better than many private colleges. We have proper labs , library and canteen which is in good condition and they provide the necessity to the students.
The professor are co-operative and help in every way possible ,they teach in such a way that it is understandable but sometimes they tend to cover the syllabus this sometimes creates stress on students.
As I'm pursuing B.com so placement that college offers is quite average and very few get placed at high CTC. It has seen that only commerce graduates get offer by placement cell of our college but those who are pursuing B.A , B.SC face difficulty during placement.
Definitely as my fees is 12 k per year which is very affordable and accessible to the students for their further studies.
It's fun , full of experience, engaging and also challenging.
It can be better in terms of placements and academics because these both are inter dependent.
The infrastructure is good, though it can be better. The new science block has the best infra and I believe even the arts block and old infrastructure should go under proper renovation to make it even more better.
The faculty is good and helpful. Some of the teachers have really excelled in their area and are v good at teaching. Besides this, I believe studies could be made more inclusive and innovative to make it less book centric and more intresting. Due to the NEP the burden is more as the extra subjects that are taught usually end up becoming too theoretical instead of actually teaching us some useful skill or value.
Placements vary depending on your course and capabilities. There are constant updates and new information for placements which is forwarded by the placement cell and it turns out to be very helpfull.
The cost of the course is quite less, for me as an English student, it is under approx 20k per year which is quite less if you compare it to other collages. This is excluding the travelling and other costs. I would say it's worth it.
The atmosphere is quite good , being an all girls college you feel quite safe here. Though you have to have a good presence of mind considering the competition and people around. The location of the college is also wonderful, it has lots of greenery and is an absolute beauty in spring time.
The complex is maintained well, and the classes are huge. The library is great with many books, and is a good auditorium for events. However, some classes lack modern facilities like smart boards. The canteen is decent, and sports facilities are also good.
Faculty is knowledgeable and assistant. Most professors explain well, and the course structure is well organized. Presence is important, but the environment is not very strict. Guests are lectures and workshops that add to learning.
Since Maitreyi is a DU college, it offers decent placements, but they are mostly for B.A. And science students. For B.Com, opportunities are limited compared to top DU colleges like SRCC or Hansraj. However, internships and skill-making programs help in the development of career.
Since it is a DU college, fees are much cheaper than private universities. The quality of education is good for the price we paid, making it perfectly worth it.
Maitreyi has an active and vibrant complex life. There are many societies like dance, music, drama and debate, which make college life exciting. The annual festival is fun, and the crowd is friendly. However, since it is a girls college, some mixed-lingo can miss the environment.
As campus is very big and many green calm areas and many areas for chilling plus faculty is so good here everyone helps me so personally I'm enjoying here and it's my best experience
The college infrastructure is perfect with well equipped classroom,Labs,Library,Canteen and many more.We have an open auditorium where all the programs performances takes place and a big sports ground is also available. As a science student there is need of different lab instruments to perform during experiment which is present in the labs.Overall the infrastructure is really nice of Maitreyi College
Regarding botany honours courses there are various meticulous Associate and Assistant professor are present who will help you regarding any doubts you have. The main focus here is on academics and the department will try to provide career counselling session to the students for future purposes.
As many of the students form botany background do not sit for placement because most of the students tends to pursue masters and even if you try the placement is majorly benefit to those who has commerce and economics background with them
I could say you'll gain various experience like joining societies and events and As a science student you'll learn various lab experiences which will benefit you in your future and will help you to build your confidence.
The campus has different types of societies that you could join. The Students Union of college organize various events throughout the year and the biggest cultural event that is Rhapsody of Maitreyi College which is very famous is also organised by Students Union where you could also join as a member and build your confidence.
My college is extremely beautiful with very beautiful garden surrounding the whole college. We have a grand entry and most beautiful rock garden in DU. We have a wonderful canteen and a hostel for student also.
Academics followed in my college is as per the prescription of NEP and the University. Our college is very strict about regularity and assessments of the students. The professors have an interactive way of teaching things.
The only defect in Maitreyi College is that it do not provide good placement as other girls college like LSR or Gargi. We do not have big companies coming for placement and whatever companies come they do not provide good packages to students.
It is a good college.
Camps life is great with fest happening all the time.
It is the most beautiful girls college in South Campus apart from Jesus and Mary College. It has very beautiful and well maintained garden . The college has a great canteen and hostel facilities for students also.
The college has decent academics with professors who are extremely talented and are always willing to help the students. The students are also very competitive and are extremely talented and knowledgeable.
The placement cell of my college is decent as compared to other colleges in Delhi University. It mainly provides placement opportunities to Commerce Students. The average package range between 4-5 LPA.
It is worth it.
They campus life id great with girls around.
My college is the most beautiful college in whole Delhi University. It is situated In Chanakyapuri, the high-profile locality of New Delhi. It has beautiful gardens and has a great canteen and has hostel facilities also.
The academics of my college is extremely good and they follow the latest syllabus prescribed by the university and NEP. The professors at my college are highly talented and possess great experience in their respective field.
The placement cell of my college is okay and provide decent placement opportunities to students. The highest package for the year 2023 was 24 LPA . Most of the placement offers are for BCom students only.
It is value for money.
We have great campus life.
The campus is quite good. They have up-to-date classrooms, library, sports facilities, and an auditorium. I am a big fan of greenery and campus has ample of it. Overall I would say infra wise it's quite decent option.
To me, Maitreyi College's Political Science Department-the professors are not only helpful, but they've really made classes fun to be a part of. Curriculums really keep you thinking and it is a great place to learn
Placement opportunities are fair with some mix of job opportunities and some internship opportunities. The placement cell is supportive and they helped us often with opportunities to network with companies
It's good but the campus is small in my opinion labs and laptops are bit shabby but college is extremely beautiful the canteen is also great they have great hostels also at first i was flabbergasted and surprised
Teachers are great and supporting they don't pressurize the students much and also support students who are in different societies and programs They don't force them for anything and help them whenever needed
I have no idea but as much as i have heard they have average placements The highest that they have is 24 lpa not sure about this data but it was from commerce department some good companies have come here for recruitment
It's great for this amount of fees They good infrastructure good classrooms and theatres also the socities are very active so it's fun to see them preparing also provides ypu whole tons of experience
Not much happening For all the students these activities for a specific section of children who are there not much engaging you might feel bored often but when atmosphere is good or festive season is around it's very lively and lovely

No it is not compulsory to include maths in the best of four marks for studying bcom hons in delhi university. You just need to have compulsorily studied maths in class 12th to opt for bcom hons but it's marks are not required to be included. If you haven't studied maths in class 12th , then you can opt for Bcom.
Hope it helps you! All the best for your future endeavours!
