Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Physical Science with Chemistry is a three-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by Maitreyi College, New Delhi and affiliated to University of Delhi, Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

45% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology (Practical & Theory together) and passing in one compulsory language (i.e. English).

45% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and 40% in one compulsory language.

Qualifying examination for the purpose of admission to the first year of undergraduate courses offered by the University of Delhi shall be Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

The applicants seeking admission to the undergraduate courses offered by the University should have passed the qualifying examination obtaining minimum marks as specified for each of the courses in subsequent sections.

The applicant should have passed individually in each subject required (including practicals, if any) for calculating merit and eligibility to the course they seek admission in.

Admission Details

The admission process for Merit based UG admission will be uploaded on the website of the University of Delhi. All aspirants must register online as per the procedure and schedule that will be notified on the University of Delhi website.
Only eligible applicants who have registered online through the university portal can be considered for admission.
Applicants will be required to appear in person at the University of Delhi only at the very end of the admission process, for verification of certificates as per the schedule to be announced by the University/ College.
All other admission procedures are to be completed by the applicant using the unique login ID they create on the Delhi University Undergraduate admissions portal (Registration process to be announced on the University website).

College Infrastructure

Maitreyi is one of the best women college of delhi university. Infrastructure and facilities are so good. We've well maintained laboratories and a good library too. College canteen is ok ok . Yes it's neat and clean. We can see a beautiful garden around us

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is not that good . Although infrastructure of new science blog is quite good , as it has pretty big rooms and good quality of rooms , good ventilation . Smart board is also available in some rooms .

Overall the experience was amazing and made friends for life

College Infrastructure

The college provides all basic facilities and equipments to the student. Clean rooms and washrooms. Especially the new science block , it is recently built and have nice infrastructure. Whereas on the other hand the old block's classrooms gives you 3 idiots vibe. Library is well equipped with books. Wifi can also be accessed there. Also it has basketball ground and big playgrounds. Also the college is also known for its serene beauty n green environment. Hostel facility has also started. Labs are also big and well maintained.
