Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Infrastructure: The college provides excellent infrastructure with spacious classrooms, modern laboratories, a well-maintained library, high-speed internet facilities, and other essential resources that support both academic and practical learning effectively.

MIMIT has well maintained and green campus that provides a peaceful learning the college features modern classrooms fully equipped computer labs and good hostels for both boys and girls and proper sports facilities

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure at MIMIT is decent and improving over time. Labs are air-conditioned and equipped with the latest systems, especially for CS and IT. Classrooms have whiteboards and some are upgraded with smart boards too. The library is spacious with a good study environment and a solid book collection. Campus Wi-Fi is mostly reliable. However, hostel facilities are average, and the mess food could definitely use improvement.
