On July 9, COMEDK will make the COMEDK UGET seat allocation announcement. The COMEDK UGET 2024 mock round selection process was completed on July 7.
On July 17, the COMEDK counselling 2024 registration period closed.
Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering, Mangalore also known as MITE Mangalore was established in the year 2007 by the Rajalakshmi Education Trust. The courses at MITE Mangalore consist of a total of 21 courses at undergraduate BE/B.Tech, postgraduate M.Tech, MBA & MCA and doctoral Ph.D programmes in the disciplines of Engineering and Architecture, Management and Business Administration, Sciences, and Computer Application & Information Technology.
For admissions to the said courses, MITE Mangalore accepts KCET, Karnataka PGCET, GATE, COMEDK UGET, KMAT and VTU-ETR entrance exams followed by a counselling round. According to the data provided by the NIRF, about 482 UG students were placed during the MITE placements drives 2023. Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University Belgaum, Karnataka (VTU Belagavi).
MITE Mangalore college has also been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The MITE Mangalore infrastructure provides separate hostels, library, canteen, laboratories, transport facilities and many other facilities for its students, faculty members and staff.

Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering is situated at Badaga Mijar, Solapur - Mangalore Highway, Near Moodabidre, Mangaluru, Karnataka and it can be reached through various means of transport. Kulashekara Railway Station is the nearest railway station to the MITE Mangalore campus with a distance of approximately 24 kms in between. The closest bus stop to the MITE college is Muchur Bus Stand, which is only about 9 kms away from the college. The distance between the Mangalore International Airport, which is the closest airport located to the MITE campus is of approximately 21 kms with taxis and cabs easily available at the airport.

Infrastructure is good and it's located after the mountains you can get a good view, and the campus is filled with the gardans and not allowed to enter the garden untill it's sentia, overall the college has good infrastructure.

I appreciate your interest towards Mechatronics and I'm here to solve your issue!!
Firstly, Mangalore Institute of technology and engineering is one of the best colleges in Mangalore and has a very good infrastructure and faculty too. You probably doesn't have many colleges offering Mechatronics in this area and this branch was started recently and new. Eventhough, you'll have a good industrial exposure anf laboratories and placements are also good relatively and they provide good training for getting selected in the companies. Finally, this would be the best option for you and keep it on the top preference.

Hello Harsh,
Both the colleges are good in terms of placement facility, infrastructure and faculty. In chitkara university almost 90% of the student got placement and in manglore institute of technology and engineering 75-80% student got placement. Infrastructure of both the colleges is very good. Overall both the colleges are good.
