MITE Mangalore Facilities

MITE Mangalore facilities are provided for the growth and overall development of the students. Some of the MITE Mangalore facilities are a boys hostel, a girls' hostel, library, sports, gym, a cafeteria, auditorium, medical/hospital, IT infrastructure, transport, laboratories, a guest room, and many more. The institute has a central library, which provides numerous resources to support the learning and project work of the students.

Students at MITE Mangalore are encouraged to participate in both indoor and outdoor sports for their physical and mental well-being. Other Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering Mangalore facilities, like a medical clinic, gym, guest room, and many more are available on the campus.

Boys Hostel
The hostel rooms are spacious with attached bathrooms and are available on a twin sharing basis. Basic facilities like hot water, wi-fi, washing machine on every floor, vegetarian and non-vegetarian food in the mess are available in the hostels.
Girls Hostel
The institute provides comfortable accommodation in the hostels for the outstation students. All basic facilities are available in the hostels. The safety and security of the students and hostel is taken care of by the hostel wardens.
Medical/Hospital
The institute has an on-campus medical clinic. The clinic provides basic first-aid treatment to the students and staff members for free.
Gym
The institute provides separate gym facilities for boys and girls students. The gym also has trainers to guide the students.
Library
The library is fully computerised and is equipped with air-conditioners. A large collection of textbooks, reference books, national and international journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, etc are available in the library. A separate discussion room is also there.
Sports
Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering, Mangalore sports facilities include a 400 metres track ground, synthetic basketball and badminton courts, cricket, football and volleyball ground, etc. The fields and courts are regularly maintained for various sports activities.
I.T Infrastructure
The IT infrastructure of the institute is well-maintained. It controls and manages the networking of the entire campus.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria serves hygienically-prepared fresh meals to the students and staff members at reasonable prices.
Auditorium
The institute has a spacious auditorium. MITE Mangalore auditorium facilities include audio-video systems, LCD projectors, etc.
Transport Facility
MITE Mangalore transport facilities include a fleet of buses. The buses ply between different parts of the city and the campus.
Alumni Associations
The college has good networking for the alumni association.
Laboratories
The institute has departmental laboratories. The laboratories are equipped with modern instruments and apparatus to help the students in practicals.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
The institute provides guest room facilities for the visiting faculty members and family members of the students.

College Infrastructure

I am a local student but my friends living in hostels tell us that they do not have AC in their hostel. That is the only disadvantage. While talking about the library, there are a number of books for your knowledge. The classrooms are quite airy but there is no air conditioning.

But there is only room for curriculum up students

College Infrastructure

The hostels are well-maintained with adequate space, proper ventilation, and essential furniture. The quality of facilities like washrooms, common rooms, and drinking water is generally satisfactory and regularly maintained. The mess food is decent, with a fixed menu that changes daily

The college is really beautiful and accademic is also good

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of this college shows how good this college is. There are plenty of well-designed classrooms with high-end projectors. They have a good mess and canteen which supports over 400 students at a time. The greenery of the college attracts you.

Is mechatronics course good at mangalore institute of technology and engineering (MITE)

Hello Jeevan Sai,

I appreciate your interest towards Mechatronics and I'm here to solve your issue!!

Firstly, Mangalore Institute of technology and engineering is one of the best colleges in Mangalore and has a very good infrastructure and faculty too. You probably doesn't have many colleges offering Mechatronics in this area and this branch was started recently and new. Eventhough, you'll have a good industrial exposure anf laboratories and placements are also good relatively and they provide good training for getting selected in the companies. Finally, this would be the best option for you and keep it on the top preference.

Which is better Chitkara university or mangalore Institute of Technology and engineering? What are the advantages?

Hello Harsh,

Both the colleges are good in terms of placement facility, infrastructure and faculty. In chitkara university almost 90% of the student got placement and in manglore institute of technology and engineering 75-80% student got placement. Infrastructure of both the colleges is very good. Overall both the colleges are good.
