B.Sc. Physician Assistant is a four year (3 years + 1-year internship) full-time undergraduate programme offered by Manipal College of Health Professions, MAHE. B.Sc. Physician Assistant programme trains the students in a medical model to practice medicine as part of the healthcare team. The course qualifies the candidates to conduct physical examinations, treat illnesses, order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies, counsel on healthcare issues, prepare patients for surgery and take care of patients after surgery.

Eligibility Criteria

Indian Boards -

Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology from a recognized Board, with minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB

A level -

Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 2 subjects amongst PCB at ‘A’ level and third subject at ‘A’ level / ‘AS’ level and
English at ‘AS’ level OR Minimum 5 passes at IGCSE/ GCSE or GCE ‘O’ level examinations including English
Minimum requirement is an average of ‘D’ grade in PCB

IB -

English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
IB Diploma or IB Certificate with Average of 4 points in PCB and overall minimum of 24 points
Minimum points required in a subject are 3 or above
Minimum 3 subjects in HL and 3 subjects in SL
Minimum two Science subjects in HL
Third Science subject and English can be at HL or SL
