M.Sc Anesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology at MCHP Manipal Offline Course

a)      M.Sc in Anesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology is a 2 year course designed to provide in depth knowledge & impart skills for working under supervision of the consultant Anesthesiologist as well as  preparation of operation theatre before & during an elective or emergency surgery Both in Anaesthesia & Surgery side.

b)     Understand the safe anesthesia &surgical techniques for various elective and emergency procedures in and outside the operation theatre.

c)       Obtain knowledge about the proper functioning of various anesthetic equipment's such as the work station, anesthesia monitors , ventilators, syringe pumps etc.

d)     They trained to do all the procedures & also can administered anesthetic drugs & advanced Anaesthesia techniques under supervision of Anesthesiologists

e)      Perform Basic skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, post-operative and intensive care unit.

f)       Learn the basic & advanced skills of various surgical procedures including the surgical instruments used in the surgical procedures.

g)      Perform Quality control procedures and to maintain asepsis.

h)     The course is designed as a full time residency program with responsibilities in managing the patients

i)       Activity theatre technologists are required over all emergency clinics who direct medical procedures like general surgery , plastic surgery ,neuro surgery, gynecology surgery ,cardiothoracic surgery so on.
