24 MonthsMSc. Emergency Medical Technology is a 2 year course, in this program the candidates are trained with a wide spectrum of knowledge in Emergency Medical Technology.
Ø Training and research on pre- hospital transport , assessment and stabilization of life threatening emergencies
Ø Development of Simulation based education, training and innovation in Emergency Medical Technology.
Ø Training in advanced trauma management in pre- hospital setting.
Ø Identifying, assessing and stabilizing obstetric emergencies, pediatrics emergencies and resuscitation in pre-hospital setting.
Ø Research and training on infectious disease outbreaks and preparedness, telemedicine and communication system.
Ø Training and research on geriatric emergencies and home care.
Ø The candidates will be able to use critical thinking and decision making during the transport and stabilization of patients in the pre-hospital settings.
Eligibility Criteria
Pass in B.Sc Emergency Medical Technology from a recognized University, with minimum 50 % aggregate marks or equivalent
