As a part of the Radiation Oncology team, the Medical Physicists are involved in clinical treatment planning, managing radiotherapy quality assurance programmes and maintaining equipments. Medical physicists use analytical and applied scientific techniques to assist healthcare workers for the safe treatment of patients and advice about radiation protection to the healthcare professionals. Medical Physicists are responsible for the accurate delivery of radiotherapy to cancer patients.
The candidate should have Pass in BSc with Physics as a major subject from a recognized University, with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent.
