Mansinhbhai Institute of Dairy and Food Technology, MIDFT, Mehsana, Gujarat, is an affiliated college established in the year 2011. With a campus area of 78 acres, MIDFT offers specialized education in Dairy and Food Technology to its students. At present, it has a total enrollment of 117 students and a faculty strength of 11 members. The courses available in this institute are 9 in number, across 3 degree levels, which target different aspects of Dairy Technology at B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. levels.

Tech in Dairy Technology is the under-graduate flag ship program with sanctioned intake of 40 students. MIDFT also offers M. Tech in Dairy Technology, Dairy Microbiology, Dairy Chemistry, and Dairy Engineering. Those interested in advanced research can do their Ph.D. in Dairy Technology, Dairy Microbiology, Dairy Chemistry, and Dairy Engineering from the institute.

MIDFT admits students based on merit, particularly so in the B.Tech Dairy Technology program. In the case of this course, the institute prepares a merit list with 60% weight-age to marks obtained in the Theory Papers in PCB/PCM subjects and 40% to the marks obtained in GUJCET/JEE or any entrance test decided by the State Government. GUJCET is the main entrance examination accepted by the institute at the under-graduation level.
