MIDFT has an excellent library, which supports the teaching and research programs of the institute. The library services are fully automated. The library subscribes to a good number of print journals/periodicals.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

MIT's comprehensive state-of-the-art computer center caters to its community through an intranet. The intranet provides online services for the effective administration of academic functions. MIDFT has a technology-intensive network, which provides mail, file, and print services on campus. A virtual office has been set up on campus to enable students, faculty, research scholars, and staff to share the browser-supported notice boards and exchange information. Efforts are being made to create a virtual community through a virtual network of member organizations, students, and faculty.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.

The college also provides good classroom facilities for all the students.

MIDFT staff and students organize and celebrate National Milk Day, World Food Day, Women’s Day, Science Day, Fresher’s Party, Sports, NSS activities, Students’ cultural program, Food fest, Tech-fiesta, etc. for the holistic development of students. To motivate and inspire students, we organize a series of Memorial lectures in which guests, who are outstanding in their field come and deliver lectures.
