Maulana azad college is a public institute ,this college has excellent infrastructure provides basic facilities intended for the convenience of the students.MAC Kolkata provides lab and many facilities equipped in this campus.

Teachers of this college are highly qualified and knowledgeable.one of the best college in Kolkata,course curriculum is well structured offers brilliant dedication and well developed syllabus.exam levels are moderate.

Almost every student of my college got placement.my faculties members and friends were very helpful.many top companies visit our College for recruiting students from different departments.Internships are also provided.

My course cost is around 5k it is worthit,any middle class family or average lower class afford this college.As it was a government college seats of courses were also very minimum.As I mentioned my course was B.sc Zoology,every year from our department,an excursion was held.

The college life of MAC was good,it had hostel for both boys and girls students,students from others departments interact with each others.College fest and departmental tools during 3 years my course were organised.

Though our classmates and seniors were fun to be with each others .Extra curricular activities are average ,The teaching quality overall is excellent.

Yes. It has ac, projector, wifi. Everything is well maintained. The living spaces are clean and hygienic. Foods are good. Everything is good and properly maintained. It has a great Library, common room.

I'm studying economics as it's my area of interest. The quality of teaching is good to moderate. However the curriculum should be more updated to make us job ready. It should include more practical knowledge based topics.

It does not have any placement cell or campusing facility atleast for economics department. One have to pursue masters under University of Calcutta( which has a decent placement quality) after graduating and then he/she will get placed .

2000-3000/ year as it's a pure government college. Yes it is worth it as it is a very affordable amount. It is worth it because there are so many facilities available in this money which is very good.

It has everything a student needs. Library, conference room, common room both for boys and girls separately. Clean washrooms, sports area. Everyone is so friendly. The location is also good. It can handle all emergencies

It is one of the best colleges under University of Calcutta. It is full government college. The infrastructure and all facilities are splendid. It has seperate hostels for girls and boys. The campus area and the classrooms, labs are well maintained. It is like my 2nd home in the town. All the staffs and faculty members are very polite and friendly.

I completed my Bsc in Microbiology here. It is one of the best departments and specially the classroom and laboratory is amazing. The lab is well equipped with modern instruments. The course curriculum is updated and it includes all the recent developments in microbiology field. Teachers are very knowledgeable and friendly in nature. They specially focus on the practicals more. Practicals are taught very nicely.

Placement opportunities must be increased. Placement is very weak here. I can not say about other departments, but in case of microbiology department, there were no formal placements in our time. We didn't have any internship opportunities also.

As it is full government college, so fees is very less. It is nearly about 1700 Rs per year and it is worth. Students can spend fun filled college life with affordable higher education. No other charges are claimed the whole year only except the University exam form fees. That is also cheap.

The campus is full of greenery. It is very neat and clean and airy. The library is very good. The canteen is also popular for its tasty food.The corridors are spacey. It is really beautiful campus.

Here, all the science departments are very good. The laboratories are very large, spacey. So, authority should think about to develop the PG departments for every science subjects. Only MSc zoology is here. So, if microbiology, chemistry PG departments are made in near future,then the students can continue MSc in their own college.
