Maulana Azad Institute of Pharmacy, Jodhpur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a well-illuminated, spacious, and well-equipped library to support and facilitate learning, teaching, and research. It is well stocked with the latest books, publications, monographs, periodicals, research reports, etc. The library is open to all students, faculty members, and employees of the University. More than 2800 books and more than 700 titles are available in the library. The library has a collection of many standard books related to pharmaceutics, pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, and allied subjects along with standard dictionaries and encyclopedias. It has a good collection of reference books such as Indian Pharmacopoeia British Pharmacopoeia etc. 

The college has a departmental-based Maulana Azad Institute of Pharmacy, which has 11 spacious, well-ventilated, well-equipped, and maintained laboratories for various Pharmacy subjects viz. Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmacognosy and Natural Products, Quality Assurance, Pharmacy Practice, Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Computer Education. All these laboratories have the necessary and latest instruments and equipment according to the requirements of the Pharmacy Council of India. 

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a canteen facility for all students.

The college has an Auditorium is the venue for various academic & cultural events. It is acoustically designed with a seating capacity of 500 persons with an excellent communication network that provides the desired connectivity between the Speaker and the audience. The fully air-cooled auditorium is fitted with the best lighting & sound facility with video display systems that provide a comfortable atmosphere to make an excellent presentation.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has a Pharmacy that provides medical facilities at a full-fledged multi-specialty hospital named MAI KHADIJA, equipped with modern medical facilities. The hospital remains open for 24 hours and free medical services are provided to students and staff of MAIP. First aid services are available in departments on campus also. Full-time doctors are available on the Campus to take care of students and staff.

The college provides ample parking on premises for two-wheelers and four-wheeler vehicles of students and the staff. But those who park their vehicles have to abide by certain rules and restrictions. At all times, for instance, speed limit norms need to be followed. Wearing a Helmet is compulsory for two-wheelers. Honking horns are strictly prohibited. All vehicles brought inside the college campus are required to have all the relevant documents as prescribed under the law.

The college provides banking services with the bank named Marwar Sharia Co-operative Credit and Savings Society Ltd. Jodhpur sited within the campus for the ease of students and staff members. MAIP also has a 24-hour SBI ATM facility for continuous cash withdrawals.

The college has an Extracurricular activities facility for all students.
