MEA Engineering College, Malappuram (MEAEC) is the best known college of engineering institution that was established in the year 2002. Known as Vengoor P.O, Perinthalmanna, Malappuram, Kerala of South India, this affiliated college is a large complex college established on 25 acres of land. MEAEC is affiliated to four major bodies which include the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and acknowledged by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college has multiethnic enrollment total population of 1352 students and faculty of 122 members in total.

MEA Engineering College provides a diverse range of services aimed at service student life needs. The college has a boys hostels as well as a girls hostel for all the out-station students to help them have comfortable stay. To support the exercise the school has a gym for the male and the female students equipped with various exercising tools. The library that occupies an area of about 900 sqm has more than 200,000 books and over 1000 journals being a important resource for students and teachers. Games and sports lovers can have several amenities such as volleyball, football, cricket as well as badminton. The college also has a modern audiovisual auditorium with a capacity of up 1000 people to be used in seminars, presentations, cultural activities etc.

The admission in MEAEC schools is exercise mostly through entrance tests and written exams. Kerala engineering admissions are completed through KEAM and B.Tech courses admittance via JEE Main.
