The M.Sc. in Economics offers students a comprehensive foundation in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Advanced Econometrics, Derivatives and Risk Analysis, and Green Economics. These courses provide a strong theoretical underpinning, equipping students to understand the design and implementation of national and international economic policies.

The program provides students with practical training in academia, research, and the corporate world through avenues like software apprenticeships, hands-on projects, paper presentations, dissertation work, and internships. This practical exposure hones their skills, making them well-prepared to tackle real-world challenges and contribute effectively to the field of economics.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 50% aggregate marks in 3/4-year graduation degree with Economics as a subject (either as minor or major or elective) from a UGC-approved institution/university (Minimum 45% aggregate marks for candidates belonging to the Reserved Category from Maharashtra State).

Admission Details

Admission will be based on the Personal Interaction (PI) score, conducted by the University according to the prescribed schedule.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure contains well maintained buildings and also have boards for better direction and they also target the design of the campus for attracting many students to the college which is one of the factor for getting admission.
