MITS School of Biotechnology Bhubaneswar is a self-financed institution dedicated to the development of education and research in biotechnology and allied sciences. MITS School of Biotechnology admission process is humble and merit based for its various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. MITS School of Biotechnology does not conduct its own entrance test; instead, it relies on candidates' marks and personal interviews for admission.

MITS School of Biotechnology has an approved strength of 196 students for the BCA programme. MITS School of Biotechnology admission is based on merit, determined by the candidate's academic performance in his/her last qualifying examination and a personal interview.

MITS School of Biotechnology B.Sc Biotechnology (Hons) Admission Process 

The college has approved the intake for B.Sc Biotechnology course as 180 students. MITS School of Biotechnology admission procedure is the same for the BCA programme, with focus on the academic record of the candidate and performance in a personal interview. Direct admission is offered at the college level without a written entrance test.

MITS School of Biotechnology B.Sc Information Technology and Management (Hons) Admission Process 

This course too has been sanctioned for admission of 128 students and follows the same admission procedure as any other undergraduate course. The applicants are selected based on their educational qualifications and presentation during a personal interview.

MITS School of Biotechnology M.Sc Applied Microbiology Admission Process 

M.Sc Applied Microbiology course has an approved student enrollment of 64. Entry is by evaluation of the candidate's academic performance during the undergraduate course and a personal interview. No standalone entrance exam is required.

MITS School of Biotechnology M.Sc Biotechnology Admission Process 

Similar to the M.Sc Applied Microbiology programme, M.Sc Biotechnology programme has an approved student intake of 64. MITS School of Biotechnology admission is based on the performance of the candidate in his or her bachelor's degree as well as on the basis of a personal interview.
