24 MonthsM.Sc. in Chemistry is designed as per UGC norms considering Choice Based Credit System. This course is provided with specialization in Inorganic, Organic and Physical Chemistry. The Program is offered in such a way that students from any combination in B.Sc., can opt for M.Sc. in chemistry. The syllabus is developed keeping in view the requirement of present scenario in industries, pharmaceuticals and R&D labs. For this purpose industrial training and research-based projects have been included in our curriculum. It also enhances their analytical ability and problem-solving approach. The students are continuously evaluated through class tests, assignments, class performance, seminars quizzes etc. throughout the semester.
Eligibility Criteria
Duration: 2 yrs. (i) B.Sc (Hons.) in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized University OR (ii) B.Sc in full subjects with (Hons.) in the concerned subject, obtaining at least 50% marks in aggregate of Hons. An examination from any recognized University OR (iii) B.Sc. with concerned subject securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized University OR (iv) BA with Mathematics as one of the main subject (for M.Sc. Mathematics only) securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized University.
