MSc. in Microbiology is a platform to study microorganisms at various levels to understand and utilize their potential for human welfare. Program involves study of Microbial cell biology (Bacteriology, Virology, Mycology etc.), genetics, Biochemistry, Fermentation, and Food technology etc. The course equip students with in-depth knowledge of microbiology, including prokaryotic and eukaryotic cellular processes to engineer these organisms for industrial applications. It also aims at developing analytical skills to understand microbial interactions, and emphasize the application of microbiology in addressing health and environmental challenges. The scope of MSc.
