Major areas of Physics such as electrodynamics, mathematical physics, condensed matter physics, solid state physics, quantum physics, atomic & molecular spectroscopy, nanotechnology, thermodynamics & statistical physics, electronics, experimental techniques, nuclear & particle physics, etc. are covering under M.Sc. Physics course. Department has been progressing exceedingly well in research areas including Material Science, Radiation Physics, Dielectric Spectroscopy, Nano-science and Nanotechnology, Electronic Materials, Energy Materials, Solid State Device Physics, Semiconductor Device Physics, and Theoretical Physics.
Eligibility Criteria
Duration: 2 yrs. (i) B.Sc (Hons.) in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized University OR (ii) B.Sc in full subjects with (Hons.) in the concerned subject, obtaining at least 50% marks in aggregate of Hons. An examination from any recognized University OR (iii) B.Sc. with concerned subject securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized University.
