The institute takes admission in the programmes on the basis of performance of the candidate in 10+2 qualifying examination. The institute has approved intake of 120 seats in B.A. and B.Com programmes, whereas B.Sc Biotechnology, Botany and Chemistry have 60 seats.

The institute provides specialised B.Com courses like B.Com Computer Applications (90 seats), B.Com Principal and Practice Insurance (60 seats), B.Com Tax Procedure and Practice (60 seats), B.Com Hons (60 seats), and B.Com Advertising (60 seats). Admission to these courses is merit-based in the qualifying examination.
