NVISMT has different undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science streams. The institute takes admission in the programmes on the basis of performance of the candidate in 10+2 qualifying examination. The institute has approved intake of 120 seats in B.A. and B.Com programmes, whereas B.Sc Biotechnology, Botany and Chemistry have 60 seats.

The institute provides specialised B.Com courses like B.Com Computer Applications (90 seats), B.Com Principal and Practice Insurance (60 seats), B.Com Tax Procedure and Practice (60 seats), B.Com Hons (60 seats), and B.Com Advertising (60 seats). Admission to these courses is merit-based in the qualifying examination.

Both BBA and BCA courses have an approved intake of 90 seats each. Admission is given on the basis of the candidate's performance in their 10+2 examination and any other criteria as may be determined by the institute.
