OIST Bhopal college infrastructure is good. Campus is big and has enough space for students. Some buildings look old and need renovation. Classrooms are normal, not very modern, benches and boards.Library is quite and have enough books. Labs have well equipment and separate laboratories are there for seperate department. Overall infrastructure is quiet good. Hostel rooms are clean and food quality is developing.
Academics in OIST Bhopal is good. Faculties are well qualified in masters and PHD degrees and also have many achievements. Some teachers are really supportive and explain topics very clearly. Internal exams and assignments are taken regularly. Two midsems are conducted by college and one endsem by university.Overall academics is okay for passing exams but students need self-study for better understanding.
Placement percent is not great for all branches. Computer Science and IT branches see around 60% placement.Branches like Mechanical and Civil also get good placements. Companies like TCS , WIPRO , CISCO , CAPGEMINI, AMAZON etc. Visit our college. Placement and training classes are given to prepare for interviews and crack aptitude exams etc.
Oriental college has a practical and usable campus. The buildings are well planned and easy to move around. Classrooms have proper arrangement of all facilities most rooms got enough light and fresh air but some classrooms feels a bit old but they are functional and labs are also okay for regular practical work and canteen serves simple food with reasonable price and also washroom maintenance can be improved.
The focus of faculties is mainly on completing the syllabus on time and preparing students for university exam. Lectures are conducted regularly, and most teachers follows a fixed teaching pattern and most of the teachers rely more on notes and books instead of explaining clearly about the topic.
students who actively participate, maintain good communication skills, and do extra certifications usually get better opportunities. The college does provide placement support but students should not fully depend on it. Some companies visit the campus every year mainly offering entry level roles in IT, sales etc.
For the fees charge oriental gives a fair deal. Students get a proper campus, regular exams, teachers and a degree that is accepted everywhere it is suitable for students who want a simple college life, manageable academics and low financial burden.
campus life at oriental is simple but friendly and the campus is not very crowed so it feels calm. The canteen is the common hangout spot and open areas are nice for relaxing. It is not very happening but suitable for students who prefer a calm and focused college routine,
NO
Infrastructure of OIST Bhopal is good and well maintained. Classrooms are clean and have proper seating. Sperate labs are available for all departments and library has enough books for study. Campus environment is calm and comfortable for students.
Academics in OIST Bhopal is average. Some teachers teaches very good and always ready to help students. But some teachers not explain topic properly and just finish syllabus. Classes are more exam focused. Students need to study by own and practice more for good result.
Placements in OIST Bhopal is good. Big companies like TCS, Wipro and Capgemini come here. Highest package of 2025 was 72 LPA and average is around 3 LPA. College give some help for resume and interviews, but mostly students work hard by themselves. Many students get placed every year and start good career
OIST Bhopal is worth the money. Fees is around 1.5 lakh per year, which is reasonable for private engineering. You get good classrooms, labs, library and placement chances. Campus life is simple but fine. For this price, it is okay option for students.
Campus life in OIST Bhopal is simple but okay. Few events and fests happens sometimes, but not very big. Students spend most time in classes and hostels. Hostel food is average, canteen is small. Friends are nice and teachers help when needed. Overall life is calm not much fun.
OIST Bhopal is an average but good college for engineering students. Academics is okay, some teachers teach very good and help students. Syllabus is mostly rgpv focused. Infrastructure is good for the fees, classrooms are clean, labs are available for all departments and library has enough books, but the seating is limited during exams. Campus life is simple, few fests and events happen sometimes, hostels are okay and mess has average food, and students mostly spend time in classes or hostel.
The Oriental Institute of science and technology have a very beautiful and aesthetic infrastructure. It has a very beautiful garden and ground and is very clean and beautiful. OIST has a very good academic infrastructure too , labs are well organised for each branches (computer , mechanical, civil , electronic etc.) Providing all useful things. Computer labs are air conditioned. Classrooms have good lightning and proper ventilation. Hostels are present inside the campus , they are clean and maintened. Mess food is average.
I enrolled in course artificial intelligence and machine learning in OIST. This course provides all skills required in todays modern world shifting towards AI , Machine learning, deepseek etc. Teachers are well qualified in M.tech or even PHD degress and are knowledgeable and helpful. Separate Training and Placement , CRT , Speaking , Technical classes are taken to make us job ready and develop our skills.
Placements of Oriental Institute are average but also improving. There is a separate training and Placement cell and they have started providing training classes from the first sem itself so that students may be job ready till 4th year. Various aptitude, Technical, speaking classes are taken. In our course the companies that visit most are TCS , Wipro , Cisco , Capgemini. Highest package of OIST was 72 LPA this year (off campus). Average packages are 3-4 Lakh (on campus) and may be high as 15-30 Lakh (on campus)
The college fees of Oriental Institute bhopal for AIML is 130000 per year , we have to pay it in 2 semesters. Yes I think the college is worth the money because they provide all job ready skills if we focus. However their training is not that much efficient but still. Here you will also build many beautiful connections, people here are very supporting and uplifting. Faculties guide you in everything, and have very good and approachable nature.
Campus Life of Oriental Institute is OG. I got many many good friends here and built many true connections. They are very supporting. Teachers are very helpful and approachable and guide us. Various events and fests are organised time to time , and we enjoy a lot. Canteen , Cafetria , Ground etc. Places are there to sit and create memories. We also enjoy a lot in class. Locality nearby ananad nagar and patel nagar is surrounded by good and educated families and it is very safe here. Transport facilities are easily available for any emergencies.
I love it out here !
Infrastructure is good.... shoot of various movies and television serials have also taken place at our college. It does has various labs, technical equipments, etc required for an Engineering course.Additionally libraries are good.
Academics is more of class and school like than practical knowledge. Labs are ofcourse in practice but that is more like a choice if you are eager do it, if not no one cares and even students are least curious of it.
The college does offer opportunity in form of placements but it all depends on the skill set of candidate whether he or she is ready to grab it at the right time. Meanwhile the placement cell staff is quite supportive.
Not a very great college , ofcourse being a private institute the focus is on attendance and marks, while there are colleges that offer great exposure and healthy environment.
Not that satisfactory in my opinion while there are fests, events, festival celebrations, etc which may be satisfying for many.
The campus is spacious, with well-maintained labs, modern classrooms, and a very resourceful library. Wi-Fi could be more reliable, and hostels need better maintenance, but overall, it’s satisfactory.
The curriculum is decent but lacks a focus on practical skills. Some faculty members are excellent, but a few need to improve their teaching methods. Certain subjects feel outdated and need updating.
Placements are average, with better opportunities for CS/IT students. Companies like Infosys and Cognizant hire frequently, but core branches have fewer options. Placement training is moderately helpful.
The fees are very affordable compared to other private colleges. While placements are average, the facilities, events, and overall learning experience make it a reasonable investment for most students.
The campus has a vibrant atmosphere with having various cultural events, sports activities , and active student clubs. The canteen food is okay, but the overall campus vibe is engaging and enjoyable.
My experience at Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal, was decent. The infrastructure is good, with well-equipped labs and a resourceful library. Academics need improvement, especially in practical exposure. Placements are average, with better opportunities for IT students. Campus life is engaging, with cultural events and clubs adding to the experience. Overall, it’s a satisfactory college for those who make the most of its resources and opportunities.
According to my experience, there are many facilities in the classroom, like the best quality fans and sitting tables. This college provides students with books. Hostel facilities are also good; there is best quality food available, and there are also canteens available for food like samosas and sandwiches, where I stay about 10 kilometers from MP Nagar.
there are many faculty members here to provide you the best way to study and solve your many problems and doubts. Seventy-five percent attendance is compulsory; otherwise, those whose attendance is less than 75 percent are not allowed to give the exam, and after 3 units are completed, all the teachers take a mid-sem before the main exam. This exam is very easy to crack.
The placement is very good. In this college, the highest package is 72 LPA, the average package is 4 to 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies in this college are Wipro, TCS, TCS Digital, etc. I do B.Tech from Oriental Institute of Science and Technology. My branch is cse so we have good placements always.
The infrastructure is good only in terms of its outside appearance, but the washrooms in TB-2 are very bad. The faculty is good-natured, but there is no Wi-Fi available on campus. The library is very nice, and sports facilities are just okay. However, the hostel is the worst part, making it a waste of money, and the mess food quality is very bad.
Teachers are very nice, but mostly towards students with high attendance. The course curriculum is just okay. The semester exams are very easy if you study for about 15 days before. The passing percentage is 33%, like most other places. My overall experience has been okay, with some good events happening.
The highest package offered on campus was 18 lakhs, while the average ranged between 2 to 3 lakhs. Top recruiting companies include Tata Consultancy Services, Western India Palm Refined Oil, Infosys, and a few sales companies. Overall, the placement experience is just okay. More opportunities are available for students with higher CGPA.
There are many facilities provided by the college for the students, like hostels, mess , Wi-Fi, pure water, etc . Every department has their own lab and seminar hall and labs are fully functional and technical. In hostels, food is good but not perfect. The food in the college canteen is excellent and tasty. 24 hour medical facility, a particular group for the students and also have a gaming zone on the campus and college to provide you with an opportunity for the sportsperson.
Teachers are very good, helpful and well trained. Teachers are well qualified and experienced. Teachers are PhD holders and M.Tech holders. This course is curriculum-relevant. Campus is provided with campus recruitment training classes for students ready for the placement. Semester exams are not difficult if you focus on your studies. The passing percentage is 70 percent.
From the campus, 60 to 70% of students are placed with good packages. The highest package offered this year is from Flipkart at 32 LPA, while the average package is 3.5 LPA, and the lowest package is also 3.5 LPA. The top companies include Flipkart, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Deloitte, Capgemini, and many more. The top roles offered are Software Developer, Data Analyst, AI Developer, Java Developer, and more.
The campus boasts modern architecture and well-equipped labs. The library is extensive, though it could stay open longer. The sports facilities are excellent, but the dormitories has to renovations to improve student comfort.
The learning experience is enhanced by small class sizes and accessible professors. The curriculum is challenging but rewarding, pushing students to think critically. There are opportunities for interdisciplinary studies, which is a big plus.
Placement opportunities are abundant at the college, with a significant number of students placed in top company. The average salary package is competitive, and the college’s reputation attracts a wide range of companies. The placement process is smooth and well-organized.
Tuition is competitive, and the school provides plenty of work-study opportunities.
The student body is diverse, which makes for a rich cultural exchange.
Dear aspirant,
The college has not shared it's placement report on their official website.
But as some students shared, according to there experience;
About 75% - 80% of the students got placed from Oriental Institute of Bhopal.
The highest salary package offered here was 20 LPA, and the lowest salary
