The Faculty of Engineering offers a four year Bachelors Degree in Food Technology which seeks to equip the students with the fundamental understanding of the various forms of food processing and production processes with the food industries so as to ensure the continuous development of humanity. The scope of the food industry has been on a rapid growth and this has created a high demand for experts who are skilled and trained in the art of providing the much needed relief in this field along with the need to maintain the nutritional welfare of the society, food technology has been playing a prominent role in maintaining this balance.
