Poddar International College of Pharmacy, Jaipur, is one of the reputed institutions recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to impart quality pharmacy education under Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur. To admit eligible candidates into the Institute's Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) program, Poddar International College of Pharmacy has devised an admission process.

Admissions are done as per the norms set forth by the university with which the college is affiliated, i.e., Rajasthan University of Health Sciences. All pharmacy candidates who are willing and eligible can apply for admission. Out of the total intake capacity of the institute for D.Pharma, which is 60, the admission process is somewhat competitive.

The usual criteria for qualification to be admitted into the D.Pharma program include:

• From the science stream

3. Document Submission: Attach the following documents along with the application form:

• 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
• Transfer certificate from the last attended institution
• Character certificate
• Recent passport-size photographs
• Any other documents specified by the college or affiliating university

4. Application Fee: Pay the application fee set by the college. The mode of payment-online/offline-will be mentioned as per the application instructions.

5. Entrance Exam: Candidates should appear for the entrance examination, if any, as prescribed by the pertaining university or state regulations on pharmacy admissions.

6. Merit List: After the application process and entrance exam(s), a merit list will be prepared based on the criteria set up by the college and its affiliated university.

7. Counseling: A counseling session will be held among short-listed candidates. In this counselor-session platform, candidates need to:

• verify original documents
• Pay required admission fees
• Choose preferred course (in case of more than one option available for course selection)

8. Admission Confirmation: The candidate will get a confirmation letter for admission after the conclusion of the counseling process concerning fee payment.

9. Orientation- Attend the orientation program organized by the college to familiarize yourself with the campus, faculty, and college regulations.

Degree wise Admission Process

D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy):

The program is a two-year full-time course offered at Poddar International College of Pharmacy, designed to equip students with requisite knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences. 

The admission process for D.Pharma goes as follows:

1. Eligibility: The candidate must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics from a recognized board.
2. Application: Interested candidates have to apply through the prescribed application process, which may be online and offline submission of forms.
3. Selection: Selection is generally based on a candidate's performance in the qualifying examination (10+2) and under either an entrance test conducted by the affiliated university or state regulations.
4. Counseling: Short-listed candidates may then be called for a counseling session for document verification and seat allocation.
5. Confirmation of Admission: Candidates shall confirm admission to D.Pharma upon the completion of the counseling process followed by the payment of the admission fee.
