24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by the University of Mysore, Mysore.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates seeking admission to the program should have passed with at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master’s Degree in Science/ Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science or Mathematics or Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master’s Degree in Social Science/Humanities of universities of Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana or the UT of Lakshadweep / Puducherry are eligible for admission to the program (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST/ PH candidates).
- Candidates opting for the Science/Mathematics stream should have studied two related subjects, i.e., Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Micro Biology and Biotechnology at the degree level.
- Candidates opting for English and Humanities should have studied English and any one of the following subjects: History, Geography, Economics, Sociology, Political science at the degree level.
- All candidates should have studied English as a subject under the language group at the degree level.
Admission Details
Admission shall be made by selection on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination and performance in a specially designed national-level test (Common Entrance Examination) conducted by the NCERT. It shall be governed by the admission policies of NCERT and the guidelines of the University of Mysore.

Best college life I had here
College Infrastructure
The RI of Mysore has best infrastructure, facilities, the classrooms have good quality of equipment like smart boards, wifi, projectors etc. there is sports center also. The living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.
