Campus Life
Life in the SRMU( Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University ) campus is generally friendly, active, aaand focused on learning with a good balance between studies and social interaction. Peaceful campus atmosphere, good cultural and sports activities, active students clubs.
Anything Else
I have been studying at shri ramswaroop memorial university , lucknow and my overall experience has been positive.
In igntu, self-effort matters more than campus jobs.
College Infrastructure
Infrastructure is okay but not great. IGNTU is a government university mainly focused on tribal students and students from nearby rural areas. The fees are low, which is a big plus for many families. The campus is large and peaceful, with lots of open space and greenery.
Academics
some teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable, while others are just average. If you are self-motivated and ready to study on your own, you can do well here. Don’t expect everything to be spoon-fed.
Placements
IGNTU's Placements are limited. This university is better for students who want to prepare for government exams, higher studies, or research rather than corporate jobs.A small part of students do get jobs on campus, mostly in small/local companies or in sectors like tourism, sales, entry-level IT or services.
Campus Life
Campus life is quiet, so if you’re looking for a very active or modern college life, you might feel bored.
My experience is overall good
College Infrastructure
Very good infrastructure as compare other's university. Very big university. Here student came from foreign also. If diversity means something then its Rabindra Bharati University. One of the best it is.
Academics
Very high level academic standards. Teachers are overall good but sometimes they target student as where they are actually that's not a good thing say. But in others sector yes it is one of top in west Bengal.
Placements
In basis of government university it is good as compare others government universities. Its not known for its placement its known for the quality of education but still many company came in this University
Campus Life
My campus life is not very good
Anything Else
If want to study in Kolkata it is good university for that
Good campus , the in timing is not good for girls
College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of my college is very aesthetic and wonderful. The campus is widely spread over a large area and each and every facility is provided by the college for the students. WiFi , lifts and every thing is availaible.
Academics
I am pursuing Chemical Engineering here in my college which is my passion and the course is one of the best in this college a part from computer science subject courses. The teachers are friendly and helpful.
Placements
Placement here in the college specially in my department is very nice , about with the average package of 8-9lakhs and median package of 6-7 lakhs. About 80 percent of the students got placed last year from my department.
Campus Life
The campus life in college is average for me because of the in timing for girls. Its 7 PM which personally i think is very less and as compared to other private colleges its very less. You will have to face these if you are a girl.
Anything Else
nothing
In Igntu Qualified and helpful faculty in many departments.
College Infrastructure
IGNTU is a central university offering UG, PG, and research programs across arts, sciences, social sciences, tribal studies, and more. It’s known for affordable fees, peaceful campus, and qualified faculty, but has mixed outcomes in placements and infrastructure.
Academics
Course curriculum is structured and covers core subjects. Many students feel the environment is suitable for deeper learning or higher studies.Teaching quality varies — some professors rely on traditional lecture styles with less industry exposure.
Placements
Professional and vocational courses sometimes fare slightly better. Many students say they get internships or jobs only by self-effort, with limited on-campus recruitment. Arts and sciences often rely on higher studies or exams (like NET, competitive exams) rather than direct job placements.
Campus Life
Igntu is a peaceful rural campus. It’s suitable for higher studies or research, but if your top priority is high placement rates or strong industry ties, you may need to weigh other options or prepare independently for jobs
Good choice for solid business education.
College Infrastructure
Campus is large and full of greenery also some cute dogs and cats play around the campus making the campus more charming. Facilities include library, classrooms, sports court and medical clinic. Hostellers complain about hostels and hygiene facilities.
Academics
Academics is also good feature of ICFAI as teachers are well- trained, but some teachers are very old in age so they sometimes lack efficiency and they cannot use digital boards, so this makes a little difference.
Placements
Placements are respectable in this college as every year a structured process for placements takes place and recruiting companies are Cognizant, TCS, Digital nest. But the real placement exposure depends on skills and specialization.
Campus Life
Active clubs, cultural and sports events takes place on regular basis during college as well as evening hours as students gets time from their classes they reach out to that function. Campus life is overall good.

College Infrastructure
NAS College offers a peaceful and student-friendly campus suitable for postgraduate studies. The classrooms are well-ventilated and provide a comfortable learning environment. The library is one of the strong points of the college, with a decent collection of commerce-related books, journals, and reference material that support M.Com coursework.
Academics
The M.Com syllabus is covered in a systematic manner with emphasis on conceptual understanding. Faculty members are experienced and explain topics clearly, helping students strengthen their fundamentals in accounting, finance, and management.
Placements
Placement opportunities for M.Com students are limited, as the college focuses more on academic development than corporate recruitment. However, the institution provides guidance for higher studies, competitive exams, and self-preparation.

A Good experience in Shyam Lal Evening College
College Infrastructure
The campus has all the basic facilities like classrooms and a library. The environment is disciplined and suitable for focused learning. Overall, my experience at Shyam Lal Evening College has been positive, and I would recommend it to students looking for quality education in an evening college setup.
Academics
As a student of Shyam Lal Evening College, I feel it is a good institution for those who want to continue their higher education while managing work, internships, or other responsibilities. Being an evening college under the University of Delhi, it provides a flexible schedule without compromising on academics. The courses offered, especially in Commerce and Arts, follow the University of Delhi curriculum and are well-structured. Along with theoretical knowledge, we also get exposure to practical learning, which helps in developing communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Placements
Shyam Lal Evening College does offer support, but it’s important to have realistic expectations. Since this is an evening college with many students juggling work or other studies, the placement scenario is not as large or highly structured as in some full-time professional colleges. The college organizes placement drives, invites companies for recruitment, and helps with internship opportunities when possible. Some students have secured roles in internships and entry-level jobs through college placement efforts or alumni networks, but much of the job search also depends on individual initiative, networking, and preparation.
Campus Life
