World-class teaching, stellar placements, minimal cost.
College Infrastructure
I find the campus sprawling, but the buildings are clearly old and require significant maintenance work. My Computer Science and Engineering department has functional labs, but the equipment is often outdated, which is a frustration for advanced coding. I appreciate the vast library resources and the overall intellectual atmosphere the university provides. I wish the facilities matched the reputation.
Academics
The academic rigor and depth I experience here are absolutely world-class, pushing me constantly. My professors are eminent researchers and experts, providing me with unmatched insight into algorithms and theoretical computer science. I feel incredibly prepared for challenging industry roles and advanced studies abroad. I know the difficult curriculum is the university's strongest asset.
Placements
I am highly confident about my future due to the phenomenal placement record, which attracts every major technology company. The salary packages offered to my seniors are consistently among the highest in the country. I receive excellent career guidance and feel the university name opens all doors for me. I believe placement is the best guarantee I receive here.
Campus Life
I love the unique, politically active, and intellectually vibrant campus environment here. The major cultural fests, like Sanskriti, and departmental events are fantastic and truly unmatched. My friends and I are constantly engaged in technical society work and cultural preparation. This environment fosters immense personal freedom and a strong community feeling.
Great Academics, Modern Infrastructure, Good Placements
College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of my college is genuinely impressive and well-maintained. The classrooms are spacious with smart boards, projectors and strong WiFi connectivity that helps in smooth learning. The computer labs and library are modern, quiet and fully equipped with updated resources. The campus also includes dedicated discussion rooms, seminar halls for students. All facilities are regularly cleaned and cared for, and the overall environment feels safe, professional and student-friendly. It creates the right atmosphere for learning and personal growth.
Academics
The academic experience at my college has been truly enriching. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed and updated regularly to match current industry requirements. Faculty members are highly qualified, approachable and use practical teaching methods such as case studies, presentations and real-life examples. Class interactions are lively, and teachers make sure every student understands the concepts clearly. Continuous assessments, projects and group activities help build confidence and practical skills. Overall, the academic environment is disciplined, engaging and genuinely prepares us to be job-ready.
Placements
The placement experience at my college has been excellent, and the institute genuinely puts in effort to connect students with top companies. The placement cell is very supportive and keeps us updated through regular training sessions, mock interviews and aptitude tests. Many reputed organizations from different sectors visit the campus, offering diverse roles. The placement team ensures students feel confident and job-ready. The internship opportunities are also valuable and help us gain real industry exposure. Overall, the placement process is smooth, structured and very student-centric.
Campus Life
Campus life at my college is vibrant, enjoyable and full of opportunities. Students engage in cultural events, fests, competitions, and various co-curricular activities throughout the year. The atmosphere is friendly and inclusive, making it easy to connect with peers and build confidence. The teachers and staff are supportive and approachable. The campus feels safe, well-organized and energetic. Everyday experiences—whether inside classrooms or during events—help shape strong personal and professional development.
Anything Else
Overall, my experience at this college has been extremely positive. The balanced combination of strong academics, excellent infrastructure, supportive faculty, good placement opportunities and an energetic campus life makes it a great place for students to grow. The college genuinely focuses on holistic development and prepares us for future challenges. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality education, professional exposure and a memorable campus journey.
The overall experience isn’t that great but u can try.
College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is very well and up-to-date. All the equipments of labs and sports are available. The food is hygienic and the food outlets are clean enough to visit and take rest. All the facilities are well-maintained.
Academics
This college has courses like RTS and ILGC which teach us mostly nothing. The professors here are mostly amazing but some courses are not that great. The curriculum sometimes feels a but outdated, but they are quick to adapt.
Placements
The first batch of Plaksha just passed out and their average salary as informed to us is about 20 LPA and the highest was 63 LPA. There were several top companies that came here for interviews including BCG, Mckinsey, et cetera.
Giving review is quite a good experience.
College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is good with almost every facilities. In every classrooms there is white board and smart board. There is wifi connections for every dipartment since a department is situated in same area that is enough for the students. There is central library with almost every technical book and there is also department library for each department. There is a neat and clean toilets and food at the canteen is also clean but the way to canteen is difficult at raining season. Over all talking infrastructure is good.
Academics
I'm studying electrical and electronics engineering and I took it because I have intrest in electrical systems. Teaching quality is good, not too bad and not too good . Just good . No, I'm studying 2019 scheme it is not updated and doesn't include recent developments in the electrical field. I think it depends because for some jobs it's enough but for some it is not enough.
Placements
Placement at college is good but students who is getting placement from our department is few because in our college core companies are coming less and most of the companies are it based like infosys, experion ect. About a 20 percentage of students get placed and the highest salary offers are like 4 to 5 lpa . Average salary offers is between 20 to 30 k indian rupees. Placement process is fair. But I think college support need to increase for bringing more core companies.
Campus Life
Good campus life. I don't think there is best feature because everything is average and it's okay for the students studying there. There is sports and other technical related clubs students are engaged with that . Then there is music clubs and dance clubs ect. Students and teachers are friendly and some support staffs are also friendly but some are not but it doesn't matter. Location, it is located in a remote area where there is limited access to outside, students from other districts or long distance students find it difficult to reach here and go back to home. Emergency can be handled, there is a hospital near it , hotels and markets but railway station is not close to it .
One of the best colleges in kerala and it true to its word
College Infrastructure
All essential amenities are met for the most part the toilets are also clean there is ample drinking water available in the campus and also the campus is huge but due to the same expanse there are some black spots also but on the whole this college is very good considering how a government college can get
Academics
I am a electronics student, so as far as I am considered the teachers are too good they know the subject most of them are passionate in teaching and are very supportive and yes the syllabus is also updated for the most part it's last updated in 2023 , and yes they make us job ready for the most part and one more thing the syllabus is more to tough than that of the KTU and teachers are strict when it comes to marks to maintain the quality
Placements
As an electronics student I have heard that the placements are dwindling but there are also departments with 100% placements ( thats what I heard not completely sure ) and when we look in general the placements are good and generally increasing well better than most of the KTU colleges
Anything Else
Don't come here expecting the " Kochi life " you will be dissaponted , come here to study but don't worry there are enjoyments here also what I am telling is that don't expect too much

Campus Life
KR Mangalam University offers modern infrastructure, strong academics with supportive faculty, and good placement support. The campus provides quality education and facilities making it a great value for money and satisfying overall experience.
Nicely Maintained university and Labs are very good
College Infrastructure
The canteen serves good quality food and maintains hygiene. Hostel rooms are average, with basic necessities provided. Wi-Fi is available, but you need login details from management to access it in labs and academic blocks.
Academics
Teachers in our department are supportive and approachable. Some faculty members are well-qualified, but a few could improve their teaching methods. Most instruction occurs through projectors and presentations. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:50, so individual attention is limited.
Placements
The lowest salary package offered is around ₹2 to 2.5 LPA, while the highest reaches about ₹6 to 7 LPA, depending on student skills. Some organizations like AgroGen Seeds Pvt. Ltd., GreenHarvest BioTech, AgriWave Solutions, and FarmLink Associates came during our batch.
Honest review about my college life
College Infrastructure
Infrastructure of classrooms and hostel facilities are ok if you are somebody staying far away from home but i wouldnt say to study here if you want to pay 4.5 lakhs or 2.5 lakhs for your degree, its not worth it. EC and many other branches dont have placements and the only people coming in are for CS and IT and that too very few get placed. Study here if you can get e-grantz (caaue everything from hostel to mess bill will be covered) in that and kind of good exposure if you get the main campus
Academics
Teachers teach and leave and might help you to get your papers signed but no other extra support. Not much permanent faculties and if we want to study and earn good marks we can and also sitting for placements and earning a good job is our need, not theirs. There are a few good professers in a few branches but dont expect to score good marks without studying hard.
Placements
Placements are going up and down. If this year its good, the coming years might be good and if its bad, it will be bad. Some branches dont evem have placements and maybe Safety and Fire engineering have the most placement rather than technical branches. Not much placement support for most of the branches other than your seniors might refer their company and plead them to come visit our campus. Overall its below average.
Campus Life
Everything needs permission and not much fun activities in the past few years after the tragic DISHNA and also no I.V in any department so overall only study.
A serious launchpad for digital creative careers.
College Infrastructure
The labs here are amazing—packed with high-end computers and industry-standard software like Maya and Nuke. It feels like a real studio environment, which is a huge plus for practical work. They focus heavily on ensuring you get that essential hands-on time, which truly makes a difference.
Academics
The curriculum is super current and laser-focused on getting you job-ready. The faculty are often certified professionals who prioritize practical skills over just theory. You will build a solid portfolio, but be prepared for a fast, demanding pace that requires serious self-discipline.
Placements
They provide solid placement support, including portfolio reviews and mock interviews tailored for major studios. While your success depends on your effort, they genuinely give you the industry contacts and opportunities to land that first role. It is a great career launchpad.
Campus Life
This setting functions more as an intense, collaborative studio than a traditional college campus. Be prepared for many late evenings spent finalizing projects alongside your teammates. Events like the Twenty-Four Frames Per Second competition foster excitement and build important networking relationships.

College Infrastructure
.Infrastructure is actually the college does have most of the equipments but doesn't have certain labs like for physics and chemistry .hostel facilities are not that good doesn't have working water coolers. .and the availability of ramp is not there
Academics
I'm a btech student and I'm pursuing mechanical engineering. Quality of teaching is average .yes I think the curriculum is updated And yes it does includes most of the recent developments. I think yes
Placements
Placements for branches like safety , electrical engineering and all is actually good But for mechanical and civil the placements are not that good and only above half of the students are getting placed.
Campus Life
Campus Life is ok but could be more better like could give more support to students, clubs and all
Anything Else
No
The college is okay. The syllabus is good. campus id fine
College Infrastructure
Sure, the college has the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Almost all the class rooms are equipped with smart boards and the labs are also adequate. There are mainly libraries two libraries. Cleanliness is something that is completely up to the person, although cleanliness is usually compromised in hostels. The food is okay but dont expect a homely vibe for it.
Academics
The teachers are good. But there are gonna be some teachers who wont be that good. there are teachers that are experienced and they will go out of their way to help you out if you approach them. They also make sure to get you upto par with the syllabus
Placements
there are good placements in cusat. But ultimately where ones gets placed really depends upon themselves. the higher the gpa, higher chances you will have to get placed in a good company with a good enough package.
Campus Life
Campus life is gonna be good if you're a social person. The overall vibe of the SoE is not that great but the main campus is nice

There is a lot of pressure of academics here.
College Infrastructure
The infrastructure available at Plaksha is really up to date. It has all the necessary equipment required in labs. Also, the hostels are really amazing with full AC/Heater services. And the food here is also of a lot of variety and good taste.
Academics
Academic pressure here is a lot. The curriculum is very much rigorous as you have weekly tests and exams, which leave very less time for your own self. But the curriculum is well-updated and the faculty here is also very educated and approachable.
Placements
As a very first Btech Batch placement which happened this year, the numbers were really amazing as the average package was 20LPA which is a lot for a newly established college. The college provides support for internships during your third year and final placements during your fourth year.
