Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering is a full-time four-year undergraduate course degree offered by Jadavpur University, Kolkata and approved by AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in General Stream of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination of a University/Board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English are eligible for provisional admission to the First Year Class of the aforesaid Undergraduate Engg/Tech/Arch/ Pharm courses.

Admission Details

Provisional admission will be made on the basis of the Provisional Admission Letter for a seat of Jadavpur University issued by the WB-JEM for Joint Entrance Examination for Admission to Engineering, Medical/Technological Degree Colleges at any of the Reporting Centers provided the candidate satisfies the prescribed following medical fitness (except for candidates applying under Physically Challenged quota).

College Infrastructure

I find the campus sprawling, but the buildings are clearly old and require significant maintenance work. My Computer Science and Engineering department has functional labs, but the equipment is often outdated, which is a frustration for advanced coding. I appreciate the vast library resources and the overall intellectual atmosphere the university provides. I wish the facilities matched the reputation.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is old and not so modern, it needs a lot of improvements. Buildings have old styled classrooms, only a few of them have air conditioning. Labs have lesser equipments and need more for smooth running. Sports centres are well equipped . Hostel facilities are cheap and good and secure. Modifications is always continuing and maintenance is going on. But the other things makeup for this.

The best value for money College i have ever seen.

College Infrastructure

Best infrastructure according to me, the college literally have everything. High tech labs , excellent working programs, labs have wifi in it. Everything is well maintained as well as regularly cleaned. The food is very hygienic. Everything really is well maintained, it is the perfect atmosphere for a fresher.
