Vemu Institute of Technology has a very good infrastructure with well-maintained buildings and spacious classrooms. Our college has canteen and cafeteria facilities with hygienic food options. It also has modern computer laboratories with latest software and hardware. Library consists of vast collection of books and journals.
Academics
Our college has experienced faculty making our academics easier. They put a lot of efforts to make us understand the topics and give our best during the exams. They also teach few topics practically by giving examples that could be useful in future. Due to this, the pass percentage keeps on increasing.
Placements
The college is very good for placements. Many great companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS come to our college for placements. Students also get trained well to crack the interviews and drives. Almost 70%-80% of the students get placed every year in good companies wit high packages.
Teachers are very cooperative which i love the most.

The infrastructure at MIET is excellent with well-maintained computer labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and smart classrooms for group studies. The campus library is good with reference books on programming, database management, and AI. Hostel facilities are good with two hostel buildings for a comfortable stay. The mess offers hygienic food, and extracurricular activities and games keep the students busy.

Yet, according to some students, the faculty guidance in day-to-day problems and mentoring can be enhanced. MCA curriculum is industry-focused but does contain some general subjects in the first year that could be more specialized in niche streams.

The placement rate of MCA students was approximately 70%. Some mid-sized IT companies and start-ups, and even some blue-chip companies such as TCS, Wipro, HCL, and Tech Mahindra, hire MCA students as Software Developer, Data Analyst, System Administrator, and IT Consultant. Salary package of 3-4 LPA based on technical skill set and problem-solving ability of the student. Also, 62% of the last batch students were placed in software development companies, cloud computing companies, and cybersecurity companies.

The academics of the college is good i.e, the college faculty is good and the facilities including labs and all are also good enough. Therefore we can conclude the same as the academics of college are again above satisfactory.

The placement of this college as far as I know is good. This campus allows a satisfactory starting package for the freshers. The package of the college is very good as compared to other colleges of same nature.

College Infrastructure
The college really needs to upgrade its infrastructure. Due to less number of classrooms, most of the SFC courses aren't allotted the classrooms well in advance. It has happened a number of times, that for different lectures, we had to shift our classrooms. Even recently, when we had to give our last internal examination, it happened that, due to pathetic college management and lack of classrooms, our exam, which was supposed to be just for 40 minutes, was postponed! So now, for MCC, the exams are a joke! Also, to accommodate other SFC Courses, we had to sit in a comparatively smaller, and a congested classroom. The classrooms are not well maintained, the projector screen is slightly dismantled, the resolution of the projector is not good enough for the last benchers to see. The benches are not in a proper condition to be used. Not just the classrooms, even the auditorium, and the college's canteen are not big enough to accommodate a huge crowd for events and occasions.

Ever since the NEP got implemented in 2022, the standard of academics is also downgrading. Most of our teachers, are from the visiting faculty. Out of which most of them teach properly, and they are able to manage their subject properly. Unlike there are a few teachers, who never come on time, cancels the lecture at the last moment, then one day, in order to finish the portion, they take 3 - 4 hours of lecture at one single stretch. Break times are provided by them, but then, for that single subject, it goes heavy on us. The teachers, who are from the college, are unable to find time to teach us properly. The notes for the same are provided at the last moment, just a few days before the exams. The teachers don't teach their subject properly or maintains a flow for the same and suddenly, they declare that one unit is over! It is so amusing! So now, for the MCC, just like the exams, the academics are also a joke!
Placements
The placement opportunity provided by MCC is not good enough as they only provide placements in the field of Finance. They are unable to provide placements / internship opportunities for the students in the fields of Marketing and HR. This time, we have been left on our own, to find internships of our choice. The college will provide assistance, but it will not cater to as per your needs and preferences.

The college conducts the fests and events nicely. Actually, I wanted to invest myself wholly for the fests and events, but for that, I can't forgo my academics, especially those subjects, which are important from the exam point of view. Because once we miss something, it becomes difficult for us to cope up with it.
