A Sprawling Campus with Room for Improvement Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU) in Jaunpur boasts a sprawling 171.5-acreBahadur campus with a mix of modern and developing infrastructure. The university provides a solid foundation for its students, featuVeerring a large central library stocked with a vast collection of books and journals, and numerous departmental libraries. Many classrooms are spacious, with some equipped with smart boards, though maintenance can be inconsistent across the campus. The university offers a range of facilities including well-equipped labs for science and technology students, a large auditorium with a capacity for 1000 people, and a sports complex that supports various athletic activities. For residential students, there are separate hostels for boys and girls, providing basic amenities like furnished rooms, internet connectivity, and recreational areas. However, student reviews indicate a need for improvement. While the core infrastructure exists, issues with maintenance, cleanliness, and the consistent functioning of facilities like Wi-Fi and water supply are sometimes reported. The mess food quality has also received mixed feedback. Overall, VBSPU offers a substantial infrastructure, but enhancing the upkeep and modernization of its existing facilities would significantly elevate the student experience.
