Academics
I am pursuing BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) at LN Mishra College of Business Management, Muzaffarpur. I chose this course because I have a strong interest in management and leadership, and I want to build a career in the corporate sector or HR field. The quality of teaching is good. Most of the faculty members are experienced and supportive. They explain concepts clearly and are approachable for doubts. Some teachers also use practical examples and case studies to enhance understanding, though the use of technology in teaching can still improve. Regarding the curriculum, it covers important topics in management, finance, HR, marketing, and entrepreneurship. While the core subjects are relevant, the syllabus needs more frequent updates to include emerging areas like digital marketing, data analytics, and AI in business. More focus on industry exposure, internships, and skill-based learning would also be beneficial.
Placements
The college provides placement support, but the opportunities are mostly limited to local and regional companies. Some students get placed in sectors like banking, insurance, retail, and sales. The average package is moderate, ranging from INR 2 LPA to 4 LPA, depending on the company and student profile. The placement cell is active, but more efforts are needed to bring reputed national-level companies and MNCs. Students are also encouraged to go for internships and training, which help in gaining practical experience.

The curriculum is appropriate, but still, the students have to put in extra effort towards skill acquisition out of class hours to make them industry-prepared. The semester examinations are of moderate toughness, and the pass rate is approximately 85%.

The college provides healthy environment for study
College Infrastructure
The infrastructure is decent. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, though sometimes the speed is a little fluctuating. Classrooms are spick and span, technologically well-equipped, and spacious enough for group classes.
Academics
The faculty is a mixture—there are few who are very experienced with business backgrounds or PhDs, while some others are going through the motions. But the teachers are extremely accessible and assist students in project work, case study work, and placements.
Placements
The highest placement offer of our department of MBA reached up to about ₹18 LPA, but most of these high offers are off-campus placements or PPOs gained via internships. The college has a decent placement record, but not everybody gets those fat offers.
