My experience at chm is has been good , supportive teachers
College Infrastructure
Yes chm have all necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment everything is well maintained. College provide facilities like laboratory, library sports wifi also a good well maintained canteen in the college
Academics
Yes, to a certain extent, the curriculum followed at CHM College is updated and covers most of the fundamental concepts relevant to the subject. However, in today’s fast-evolving world, especially in fields like commerce, technology, and finance, there is a constant need to include the latest industry trends, digital tools, and real-world applications. It would be even more beneficial if the curriculum incorporated recent case studies, regulatory changes, and practical insights from current industry practices. Including more hands-on learning, workshops, and updated software knowledge would ensure students are not only academically prepared but also industry-read
Placements
In chm Placement support is decent but can improve. More tie-ups with companies, skill training sessions, and mock interviews would help students get better job opportunities and industry exposure.
Campus Life
Campus life is vibrant with events, fests, and active student participation. More club activities, cultural exposure, and chill zones would make it even more lively and memorable.
Active campus, affordable.
College Infrastructure
BK Birla College is one of the most well-known institutions in Kalyan, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. My overall experience at the college has been positive. The campus is spacious and well-maintained, with a decent library, sports facilities, and a quiet environment for studying. The professors are knowledgeable and approachable, especially in departments like Commerce and Science. Some teachers go out of their way to support students, though teaching quality can vary from department to department. The college regularly organizes cultural fests, seminars, and guest lectures, which help in the overall development of students. It’s affiliated with the University of Mumbai, so the curriculum is mostly theoretical but well-structured. One area that could improve is the administrative process — it can sometimes be slow and unorganized. Also, while placements are offered, they are mostly for basic entry-level roles, so students aiming for high-end corporate jobs or specialized fields might need to put in extra effort on their own.
Academics
The academic environment at BK Birla College is disciplined and student-focused. The college offers a wide range of courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce, including self-financed programs like BMS, BAF, and BBI. Most of the faculty members are experienced and well-qualified, especially in core subjects. They focus not only on textbook knowledge but also encourage students to participate in projects, presentations, and inter-college competitions. The Science and Commerce departments are particularly strong in terms of academic delivery. Attendance is strictly monitored, and internal assessments (projects, presentations, assignments) play an important role in final grading. The syllabus follows the University of Mumbai structure, and exams are conducted timely. However, in some departments, students may feel the need for more practical exposure or industry-oriented teaching. Still, if you're self-motivated and attend classes regularly, you’ll gain a solid academic foundation. Academic Rating: 4/5
Placements
Placements at BK Birla College are moderate and mostly suited for students looking for entry-level roles. The college has a placement cell that organizes campus drives mainly for Commerce and Management students, especially from courses like BMS, BAF, and BBI. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, and a few local firms do visit, but the salary packages are generally on the lower side (ranging between ₹2–3.5 LPA). Most opportunities are in customer service, BPOs, and sales-related roles. Students aiming for high-paying corporate jobs or roles in specialized fields might have to explore off-campus placements. The placement cell does provide guidance for resume building, interview skills, and sometimes conducts training workshops. However, placements for Science and Arts streams are quite limited. Placement Rating: 3/5
Campus Life
Campus life at BK Birla College is vibrant and engaging. From cultural fests to sports events and student clubs, there’s always something happening. The environment is friendly, disciplined, and safe — great for both academics and personal growth.
Anything Else
My time at BK Birla College has been quite fulfilling. The teachers in my department were supportive and explained concepts clearly. I enjoyed participating in college fests and volunteering at events, which really boosted my confidence. While placements could be better, the college gave me a strong academic base and good memories.

College Infrastructure
Bhagini Nivedita College, a women’s institution established in 1993 on the outskirts of Najafgarh (Kair village), offers a blend of basic infrastructure and some well-maintained facilities. The campus includes a sizable library with over 25,000 books, subscriptions to 54 journals and 12 newspapers, and a computerized library system with a book bank for underprivileged students . Its labs are discipline-specific—ranging from computer, food technology, nutrition and apparel design to physics—with well-equipped auditory and sports amenities, including badminton and volleyball courts, gym equipment (cycles, steppers, dumbbells), and an auditorium seating over 500 . The college ensures daily student connectivity via shuttle buses and enjoys Wi‑Fi coverage across campus . However, several student reviews consistently highlight deficiencies: dated classrooms with poor maintenance, dirty washrooms lacking proper ventilation or hygiene, weak Wi‑Fi connectivity, and a small, under-equipped canteen. Infrastructure is commonly described as "average to poor" and the isolated rural setting further accentuates these limitations .
Academics
Students emphasize that BNC's strongest asset is its faculty: caring, qualified, supportive, and attentive—making teaching a positive experience despite the infrastructural issues . Academically, the college scores well (4.1/5) with most students finding courses engaging and relevant .
Placements
Placement rates are modest. Some students receive offers (e.g., BSNL, Boat, Raymond), with average packages around ₹3–4 LPA, occasionally peaking at ₹8–12 LPA. However, opportunities are limited and vary by course stream .
Campus Life
Located approximately 6.5 km from Najafgarh Metro, the college is tucked in a tranquil but isolated area, surrounded by farmland . Students enjoy the serene, pollution‑free environment, but note the lack of nearby amenities and transport challenges; many rely on shared cabs or shuttle services .
Anything Else
Bhagini Nivedita College is best suited for students who value dedicated faculty, a peaceful rural setting, and a range of academic programmes thoughtfully delivered—especially in arts, sciences, home science, etc. However, prospective students should weigh these strengths against the college’s underdeveloped infrastructure, limited placements, and transport constraints due to its remote location.
Modern labs and practical training
College Infrastructure
The classrooms are pretty spacious and breezy. The course that I've taken has been pretty good so far, with quite a few interesting subjects related to my field. Regarding the hostel, it's pretty good. The food is nice for dinner. Lunch is very basic.
Academics
Teachers are very helpful and very approachable. They explain topics properly and are always open to questions and discussions. The exams are also pretty good. They give us question banks for reference to study for the exams. Internals are continuous, and semester exams have a day's gap.
Placements
Placements have been excellent, but very low packages are offered by companies. The lowest package is approximately 3.5 lacs per annum, whereas the highest package goes for about 25 lacs per annum. Overall, many companies come for recruitment, where they conduct aptitude tests, technical rounds, and then interviews.

The institute also provides excellent sports and recreational facilities, including indoor and outdoor games. Overall, the infrastructure effectively supports both academic and personal development.
Academics
Faculty members are helpful and approachable. They are always ready to clarify doubts and support students academically. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable in their respective subjects, and the overall teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is updated and aligned with academic standards, though it only partially prepares students for the industry. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, requiring consistent effort to pass. The approximate pass percentage is around 40%, indicating a fairly challenging academic environment that encourages serious study.

College Infrastructure
The campus of Ujjain engineering College is quite spacious and green, spread over a large area. You’ll find big classrooms, decent labs, a central library, and separate hostels for boys and girls. The canteen food is average, nothing fancy, and some students have complained about the hostel conditions too.
