College had all necessary infrastructures and facilities but limited equipments. College infrastructure was amazing old building was built from rocks by sir m vishveshwaraya. And the new building has all the facilities except some of the laboratories equipments are shortage, classrooms doesn't have smart boards, and cc cameras and no wifi , not maintained well.
Academics
I was studying bachelor's of civil engineering, quality of teaching was pretty good. Lectures are experienced and was friendly and supportive . I don't think my curriculum is updated to recent developments . My study has difficult In finding jobs.
Placements
Placements are high for textile , computer science and electronics and communication branches, around 35 to 45% and placements are more for textile branches , placements section staffs are very supportive and pleasant and they will guide us through the placement process.

College campus is in center of the city and we enjoyed lot with friends In sports room and had fun with classmates, and students can engage In sports. Teachers and staffs are very supportive in everything. Location is well connected to city, safe and can handle emergencies.

College is located in center of the city , beside to Krishna Rajendra circle, and college has 2 metro stations within 500 metres and bus stop near by 100 to 150 metre . Vidhana soudha and Vikasa soudha is in walkable distance and cubbon park is opposite to the College. Can enjoy and travel and explore more near the College, i really recommend this college if ur chill and cool. And even less fees .

College doesn't have any necessary facility or infrastructure nor laboratories equipments, laboratories doesn't have much needed equipments, and laboratory classes are maintained in worst condition without cleaning anything laboratories full of junks ,classrooms doesn't have smart boards, No wifi , no mobile network, totally there is no maintainence.

I'm studying 7th sem bachelor's of civil engineering, staffs are well experienced and knowledgeable, and well supportive through out academics. But right now civil engineering has less demand in engineering field so it makes difficult to get jobs.

Quality of placement is poor in civil engineering and mechanical branches , but even though soke companies will come with very low package, 10 to 15% may get placed In campus recruitment, highest salary package was around 12 lpa for software branches average is around 2 to 2.5 lpa , coming to placement Guidance and support, they don't teach any skills or basic skills required to get placement college is not supportive for placement.

Campus is big and spacious but no much enjoyment like other colleges, but can enjoy in fests and functions, freshers and farewells and in forum, and in sports teachers are supportive, and the staffs I,e watchman's are rude they don't even allow parents from college gate. College location is in middle of the city accessible to everyone and safe.

College has every possibility to develop to full but the management is careless , classrooms had cracked walls, broken windows, and tap less bathrooms and washrooms, College hostel even more worst 60 to 70 years old hostel building looks like a haunted bungalow No windows, no doors, no beds, no washrooms, no paint, no plastering. No proper maintaince , everything has to be taken care from scratch. I would really not recommend this college if u r thinking to enjoy college life.

Im studying ECE,and i choosed this course for the scope of innovation and job prospects. The faculties shares digital course materials for preparation and always reachable for clearing doubts.Books are available,we can take it from libraries. Digital library is also available.

As of now only IT companies have come for placements and only 2 core companies have came for ECE,which makes the placement percentage less compared to pther department.And the salary package also not so high ,there were less than 10LPA as of now.

This college is located at the heart of the city in Kodambakkam and this is one of the main advantages found since travelling is easy from various locations even though there is no transport facilities. The institution offers decent placements however its was considered to be even better earlier. The people, atmosphere is akin to school and is the food is really good despite only veg is available. Not only that , the best part is the college clubs I was part of the Web development and E-Sports club of the college and this was the place where I really got exposed to different I.T sectors.

Here most of the staffs are really friendly and will guide you well however make sure that you approach and make them aware that you are interested. Most of them here are doing their Phds right now and therefore they will guide you through formats for final year reports and projects well. Placement guidance can be improved though. Its easy to pass here effort is needed to score university ranks and stuff.

The college was once a legacy in placements like even people in civil and mech used to get placed so well, however after pandemic just like all over the world recession affected our batch too , badly. However , we got lots of great companies like CTS, Accenture, HCL, American Mastercard, JMAN Group, Propel, etc. and even some Bangalore companies . Japanese companies visit here as well.

JG provides every facility to its students like Wi-Fi, computer labs, and well organised classrooms with projectors and also a Library. Hostel is also good, there are common washrooms/bathrooms on each floor and rooms are of 2 as well as 3 sharing. Food in mess is okay and there are various sports that you can enjoy like Basketball, Cricket, Badminton etc.

Teachers are very well qualified and trained in their subjects, and are very helpful. Quality of teaching is very good as there are digital boards as well as whiteboards in every classroom. The curriculum is relevant and definitely makes students industry-ready.

JG College's placement committee is good and hard-working, and it fulfills its promise of 100% placement. Top recruiting companies in my course were Refinitiv, Inteva, Byju's, CRISIL and many more. As I was in Finance domain, the top roles offered were Analyst, Researcher and Associate.

The college infrastructure, considering the college situated in the outskirts of the town, was overall average. Labs are well-equipped, and at the same time, each lab has dedicated expert to look after the expensive equipment of the lab. Classrooms were big enough to accommodate more than 50 students. The college has a dedicated ground for football and other playgrounds include a tennis court and a volleyball court.

Talking about the faculty members, the college has some really good faculty members. I personally have studied computer science and engineering and the faculty members really helped me a lot to pursue my course. At the same time, faculty members were very much helpful and I would say from my personal experience whenever at any point of time I needed help they were there for me.

When it comes to placements, there are always pool campus drives. I got a job in pool campus drive. Apart from that, when I used to be in my final year, training and placement officer was very much helpful and he always helped us and at the same time motivate us to excel in interviews. Overall, I would say considering the current market scenario, my college offered enough opportunities for all the students to get into the corporate life.

Our college has a very useful infrastructure, including neat and clean laboratories with Wi-Fi facility. Lab facilities are very good, and in the canteen, they always maintain hygiene. There is a huge playground, and many tournaments are conducted here. A first-aid box was available for primary treatment if needed.

Teachers here are the most qualified and helpful in our problems. They were experienced and knowledgeable, and their teaching quality was very nice. Our departmental teachers always encourage us to do things creatively and helped to think highly in a way that it improves students performance. I was a student of CSE department at GKCEM. The placement cell of GKCEM plays a nice and crucial role in placing most of the undergraduate students. Even it is always tied-up with reputed firms and industrial establishments.

One of my senior got placed at Walmart Bangalore. The average salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is around 5.8 LPA. Some of the best companies that came for placements are Walmart Labs, Aon, Refinitiv, Asian Paints and Quest Global.
