Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by CMR College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

Eligibility Criteria

A student must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognized by the Government of Telangana as its equivalent.

Admission Details

CMR College of Engineering & Technology is amongst the most competitive colleges when it comes to the admissions. The following is the criteria for the admission:

70% Admissions are taken under Convener Quota.

All the eligible candidates for admission into First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of Telangana. The candidates will be admitted by EAMCET Convener strictly in accordance with the rank secured at the Entrance Examination and keeping the rules applicable in view, regarding the reservation of seats of various categories of candidates

Management Quota

30% of the total seats will be considered under Management Quota.
To seek admission under Management Quota, he/she must satisfy the following requirements.
A student should either have obtained a rank or should have secured a minimum aggregate percentage of 50% in group subjects (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) in the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana or any other examination recognized by the Government of Telangana as its equivalent.
30% of the total seats will be considered under Management Quota.

College Infrastructure

The equipment is good, except in the Physics lab. The hostels are clean, as they were recently built. Sometimes, the equipment in the Physics lab gives different readings for different professors. They make us believe their method is right, while other faculty give other methods that give different outputs.

College Infrastructure

We have super cool classes and Wi-Fi-enabled labs for every needed subject. These labs are well-equipped with all facilities and software needed. In addition to software labs, we also have electrical, mechanical, and civil-related labs.

College Infrastructure

Our college infrastructure is very nice. However, when it comes to hostels, the infrastructure is good, but their facilities are not as mentioned, and they don't provide perfect management. Coming to our labs and classrooms, everything is very good. Labs are well maintained by teachers, and they provide us with lots of books in the library.
