The college features modern infrastructure with up-to-date facilities. The library is a standout, providing a quiet place for study and extensive resources. Classrooms are equipped with the latest technology, though occasional technical difficulties occur. The dining facilities offer a variety of options, but the quality of food is sometimes inconsistent. Parking can be difficult during busy periods.
The academic programs at this institution are diverse and well-structured, with a strong focus on both theoretical and practical knowledge. Faculty members are generally knowledgeable and provide valuable insights. However, some students have reported inconsistencies in course quality and grading practices. The curriculum is challenging, requiring students to manage a heavy workload.
Placement services at this college are comprehensive and well-organized, offering a variety of job opportunities. The career services team is proactive, providing resources such as resume workshops and mock interviews. While the overall placement success rate is high, some students have reported that the process can be competitive and that there could be more support for roles in niche sectors.
College is well-equipped with facilities and good infrastructure. The classrooms were air-conditioned and the hostels and libraries were good. The infrastructure was well-maintained. The living spaces were clean and the food was hygienic and of good quality.
The course I studied was Diploma in Electrical Engineering as I was passionate about electricity and its generation and transmission. It excited me that time. The quality of teaching was above average. The curriculum was well-updated and it made me job-ready for the industry.
Talking about the placements, at my time, they were fine. 70% students got placed that time. The highest salary was around 4 lacs for CS branch. The average salary was around 2 lacs. The placement process was easy and the college was supportive.
The best part of college campus was its library. The worst part of college was its location. The activities student engaged in were sports, lab experiments, etc. The students and support staff were kind. The location could handle emergencies that time.
I got a job from the college so it was a good deal for me
Sports Facilities For fitness and recreation, the college offers a variety of sports facilities, including a gym, swimming pool, and several outdoor fields. These amenities cater to both serious athletes and those who are simply looking to stay active. The gym is equipped with modern machines and weights. However, I noticed that during peak hours, especially in the evenings, the gym can get quite crowded, making it hard to access certain equipment.
There is a wide variety of courses available, allowing students to explore various interests beyond their majors. However, it can be frustrating when popular courses fill up quickly, leaving students scrambling for alternatives. Ideally, more sections of in-demand classes should be offered to accommodate all interested students. Still, the range provided allows for a personalized academic journey.
While the placement cell was active, I felt there was a lack of personal attention for students who needed extra assistance. Some peers struggled with interviews and resume formatting but found it challenging to get individualized support. More tailored mentoring could improve the placement experience.
would rate the college infrastructure a big five out of five as all the classrooms were air-conditioned, and we had whiteboards and also projector facilities for PowerPoint presentations. The laboratories and classrooms were spacious are well maintained. The library had many books other than the daily reference books that were very helpful for further studies and competitive exams also.
Most of the teachers here were visiting facilities having a rich industry experience and they share a lot of valuable insights as to what the industry expectations are. The regular teaching staff was also very cooperative. The course curriculum was coupled with industry visits and internships makes us industry-ready. The semester exams require good practical knowledge and out-of-the-box thinking other than bookish knowledge.
The college and professors took the campus placements process very seriously. In our batch, very top organisations like Adani, Reliance, and Unilever were a part of the process. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 7.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4.75 LPA. Almost 95% of the students were successful in getting internships from our batch.
If you are getting admission to IISc, you are getting a hostel. In the hostel room, you will find a chair, table, locker, bed and light. All the rooms are well ventilated, and, best of luck, you can also get a balcony with a nice outside view. Based on your area and food habits, you will have access to the mess. The food quality is awesome. You can choose between a North Indian and a South Indian mess. Also between vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Everyone coming to IISc will get a hostel. You will do registration at the time you come to the institute; it's a very easy process.
: I am not qualified to assess the best faculty and scientists in this country. This statement is sufficient, I think, to describe them. Well-experienced people with a passion for what they are doing. They are available all the time for discussion and for the benefit of students.
I do not have statistics about this. As per what I observed, I have seen ME students getting offers ranging from 12 to 24 lacs per annum. Being Ph.D. students from IISc, we generally do not look at campus placements. We look for postdoctoral fellowships abroad to get trained in arena, come back and try to give back to the nation what we can.
You will got the stipend as per phd student

The greenery around the college was awesome. It has all the facilities and equipments that a student needs in the campus. Desk and classrooms are well maintained and it’s a very hygienic place for student there is also a library available
The college invites many companies for placements. They give you enough opportunity to sit for an interview and internships. They provide many field projects and live projects. The highest salary package offered is 19 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Companies like Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, etc., visit our campus for placements. Roles are offered in Marketing mostly because every company wants to market their company for a while.
The college offers a green, serene environment with ample seating areas for relaxation. The labs are up-to-date with the latest equipment. However, the library’s digital resources are limited-time for the students.
The course offerings are diverse, catering to a wide range of interests. The academic advising system is strong, helping students navigate their paths effectively. However, some classes are large, making it hard to get individual attention from the lectures.
The college has a robust placement record, with most students securing jobs in their desired fields. The placement cell organizes workshops, mock interviews, and industry interactions that greatly enhance employability.
Living on campus has been an amazing experience. The dorms are cozy, and there's always something happening.
Infrastructure and facilities of college are of good quality. The hostels have good rooms and all facilities are well-maintained. Classrooms have AC and libraries are managed. The food is hygienic and the living spaces are clean.
I was always curious about the field of Management and Infrastructure so I am studying MBA in Infrastructure Development and Management at SCMHRD. The quality of teaching is wonderful. The curriculum is well-updated and includes recent developments. It makes me job-ready too.
100% placements is there at SCMHRD. The quality of placements is great. The highest package of 60 lacs for HR domain was there and the average of 17 lacs was there for the students. The placement process is fine and pleasant. The college is supportive.
The college campus has the best swimming pool and the worst feature is its small playground. Students involve in all the activities as this is a student driven college. All the staff and teachers are supportive and the college is in a safe location which can handle emergencies efficiently.
The college has a good reputation
Housing Conditions Housing is a major aspect of campus life, and the college provides a range of dormitory options. My living situation has been comfortable, with well-furnished rooms and adequate communal spaces. Regular maintenance ensures that everything runs smoothly. However, noise can be an issue during finals week when everyone is either celebrating or stressing out. Soundproofing could be a valuable addition to enhance the living experience.
The academic resources available, including tutoring centers, writing labs, and library access, are commendable. Most staff is eager to help, and these resources have proven invaluable during challenging courses. However, there could be more promotional efforts to ensure all students know these resources exist, especially incoming freshmen who may feel overwhelmed during their transition.
An issue I encountered was the unrealistic expectations set by some alumni regarding placement packages. While it's great to aspire for high salaries, not all graduates secure roles with such impressive compensation immediately after graduation. A more grounded approach in discussions could help future students.
The infrastructure is impressive, with advanced technology in every classroom. The sports complex is world-class, However, the hostel accommodations could use better maintenance and more frequent cleanings.
The faculty is a mix of seasoned professionals and newer professors, providing a good balance of experience and Courses are well-structured, though some lack engagement. There are plenty of opportunities for academic growth, including internships and research.
The placement scenario at the college is quite strong, especially for engineering and management students. The placement cell provides training sessions that help students perform well in the interviews.
However, the student housing could use some upgrades. Despite that, the academic atmosphere is motivating and supportive.
Cafeteria and Dining Facilities The campus dining experience can greatly affect overall student satisfaction. The cafeteria provides a range of meal options that cater to various dietary needs. I find it convenient that they offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices. Although the food quality is generally good, there are times when the meal preparation can be slow, leading to long wait times during lunch hours. A more efficient system would make the dining experience even more pleasant.
One highlight of the academic environment is the availability of research opportunities. Faculty members are often open to undergraduates participating in research projects, which can lead to meaningful collaborations. Engaging in research not only enhances understanding but provides vital experience that is beneficial for graduate school applications or future employment.
The workshops and seminars conducted by industry professionals were a key highlight. Topics such as soft skills, effective communication, and teamwork were emphasized. These sessions equipped me with the necessary skills for the workplace setting and boosted my confidence for interviews.
The course outline is well designed and updated in accordance with industry requirements. The hostel is situated 1.5 km away from campus. Hostel life is full of learning for everyone. We engage in various discussions and analyses, which help us understand ongoing issues in simpler terms. Seats available are very less in the hostel but many PGs are available nearby.
Lecturers are very good at teaching and explaining the concepts. They have good qualifications and knowledge. Our course is curriculum-based, which makes students industry-ready. Exams are a bit difficult, and we have to work hard to get good marks. The passing percentage is 50 percent of marks. Exams at regular intervals ensure that students work well in their academics.
The best part is the umbrella placement of FORE competition, 150+ companies visit the campus and the highest package offered is by a Dubai based company which is of 70 LPA. If you never failed in any semester, you will get placed 100%. Currently I am happily pursuing a job after college. SIP opportunities are also good; students are allotted mentors from the senior batch to prepare for them.
Scholarship is also give by the management and the government.

Outdoor spaces can serve as vital areas for relaxation and socialization. The college features several green spaces, benches, and study areas in nature. These spots are perfect for students looking to unwind or work on group projects. However, during the rainy season, these areas can be less appealing due to muddy conditions. Increased maintenance during this time could improve the outdoor experience.
Class sizes vary, affecting the level of interaction. Smaller classes foster more meaningful discussions and allow for personalized attention from instructors, which can enhance learning. Conversely, larger lecture-style classes can feel impersonal and discourage participation. Striking a balance between different teaching formats would improve overall student engagement.
Securing an internship through the college greatly influenced my placement experience. The internship prepared me for real-life work scenarios and enhanced my resume. When the placement season arrived, I was able to leverage my internship experience effectively during interviews.
Our college has the best facilities and infrastructure. At our college, facilities like high-speed Wi-Fi connections, libraries, labs, auditoriums, etc. are available. Our college hostel also has good-quality facilities. The food in our hostel mess was good to eat. Various sports facilities were available at our college. The institute has excellent sports facilities because it believes a healthy mind resides in a healthy body.

The course curriculum is absolutely relevant. It also makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams at our college were hard to pass. The pass percentage of our college is 36%.

The quality of the hostel is quite good. We are the only that has rooms with AC, and we are properly equipped with Wi-Fi and an Ethernet port in each room.
Here, faculty members are qualified .Although they are highly qualified, just like other colleges here at professors will give you the typical professor vibe while teaching. Exams are quite difficult but as an this college will cover the whole syllabus within a week and easily crack the exam. Pass percentage is generally 30%.
