College Infrastructure
College is one of the best in Chandigarh but still lacks some of the basic infrastructure. It has a very small campus as compared to top colleges. It has a functional auditorium which got completed just last year.
Academics
Some of the faculty is top-notch here while some only come to have tea and gossip. But most of the faculty is very sincere towards their work and most of them have also been rewarded at a higher level.
Placements
The placement support at DAV College is very poor as no company visits for most of the courses and even if it comes for few of the courses, they don't offer more than 4-5LPA which is very low as it is situated in main Chandigarh.
Campus Life
Campus life is quite happening as it is in the sector 10 where Gedi route is also very famous and the famous cafes of the city are located here.

As far as basic necessary infrastructure, facilities are concerned we do have smart classroom, good labs . Yes the equipments are available for basic understanding of the experiments but not enough for all students to perform the experiments. We do a good library for the students to read and it is open though out till 12 and till 2 am during exam days. Also have a wifi facility in libraries and in departments. For hostel students and for all we have 3 mess for food . It is decent according to price point.
Academics
I'm pursuing electrical engineering and i'm in 3rd year 6th semester. According to me the teaching quality is good i would not say excellent there are some lags for some subject teachers and there teaching pattern but yes some teachers are excellent. Like all other engineering colleges the students are not much concerned with practical knowledge due to which we can see a lag during practical training.
Placements
Being in 3rd year as much as i know about the placement is pretty good. In particularly my brach we have a placement ratio of upto 70% of students get placed and we have criterion of 7-7.5 cgpa to seat in placement.

The quality of placement in the college is just an average as they are not having good facilities to us they provide us the average internships and also the average job opportunities the highest selling packages 8 lpa so the placements and need to focus on this

College infrastructure is good. It has the biggest playground out of all the colleges of North Campus, DU. Three huge buildings with a beautiful lawn. It got all modern facilities in lab. It got a three storey modern library and a huge canteen.

Academics is good along woth outstanding exposure to other cocurriculum. Hansraj is one of the top colleges in DU and it boasts an excellent academic track record with a vast plethora of well educated and qualified teachers.
Placements
Placements happen in certain courses like B.Com and BSc Mathematics and statistics. Mainly consulting companies come and recruit. But yes, placement opportunities are open for all if you have the required skills

North Campus of delhi university is famous for its campus life. Its an outstanding place with lots of history, good food and good memories attached to it. GTB and Vishwavidyalay are the two main metros to reach north campus

The quality of placement in the campus is really too bad as I didn't got any placement from the campus I took the job from outside of campus drive and almost limited to and get job as placements I don't focus upon the job opportunities

Quality of teaching is very good, almost all the teachers are Doctorate holders and have good experience in academics. The curriculum in my field is not being updated frequently because it is Physics and our college is arts college.

Our college does not have a full fledged placement cell committed to place students. Placement fair had happened once in a while but the quality of companies coming for placements is very poor. No good placements is offered from this college.

Campus life is really amazing, we will be exposed to various real life scenarios and we will be equipped to face different challenges in the life. We will have arts fest, D zone fest, NSS, NCC and different activities.

We have a huge ground and courts for all sports and hostels too. The food spaces are clean and hygienic and very tasty.

I'm studying mechanical engineering because i wanna pursue automobile engineering in my masters. The quality of teaching is very good and professors are very nice. The curriculum needs to be updated though but its still upto high level. Yes the study makes us ready for job.

Our college bas a pretty good present and past regarding the high quality of placements and opportunities. 90% students get placed and student got placed with 42 LPA but I don't remember his branch. An average package of 5-10 LPA is offered to most of the students. The placement process is very easy and pleasant and our college is very supportive .

Well equipped with modern technologies and innovation. The class is of high standards and smart tv technologies. The IT labs are superb and have a great library with online facilities too. College guarantee 100% placement and the highest placement for the year 2024 is 24LPA and lowest is 7LPA. Top 20% students have an average of 20 LPA. Overall the placements is good but poor in summer internships.

Campus life is average as there only almost 550 students and lesser no. of events. There aint any support from the management to the students for conducting events and fests. Even for the flagship programs there wont be any off day.

College comprises in almost 10acres and a 5mins of walk can cover the entire college. No ground facilities inside the campus and everything sums in just one academic block. No leisure space for students to sit and work.

Well qualified teachers and have a great knowledge of syllabuss. Teachers are always open to help the students. The live project and the classes helps to gain knowledge and give great insight for the students
Placements
The companies coming for internships are just below average companies. They say 100% placement but only 80 to 85% is done. And many people will be getting LPA below 7.5. The average package is 9LPA and most the LPA will be having high variables.
Campus Life
Paying more than 18lakhs and not getting a good college life and placements is disappointing. No enjoyable events in the campus and boys hostel is 2km away from the campus and students have to enter the hostel before 6. Even we should get the food delivered before 11pm otherwise securities wont allow the students to get the delivery.

Personally my expectation about the college was way high before coming here and its entirely different. Even there is no wifi in the campus for students. Other than brand value of the NAME there aint much value for anything we get here.
