College has all the facility as a part of working university should hold. Great opportunity to continue study for people who can't join a regular course or attend college at a regular basis. Facilities and staffs are also supportive.
Academics
As I'm a mathematics enthusiast, so I was pursuing my B.Sc maths honours along with diploma in mechanical engineering. Yes you read it right, I was pursuing two courses in same time. It can be done if one course is being pursued from open university.
Placements
As much I'm aware, there is no placement opportunity. You can get the course completion certificate and that's it from the college. As it's a branch of open university. We should not expect placement either.
Library is really good.

Campus has beautiful infrastructure with well maintained with all necessary equipment like smart boards in class rooms, wifi enabled campus, laboratories and all major sports areas, the Hostels are soo good and with filled with facilities , mess food is quite awesome better than other university here.

Academics is one of the thing which is good in the university the curriculum is well updated according to recent industry standards and recent developments in the fields, the quality of teaching is good here in the university is module system which leads students to opt for extra subjects here.

Here, placements are quite good in campus the average package is around 2-3 lakh per annum and a highest is around 4 lakh per annum, and the quality of placements are good in campus the placement process is handled by students for transparency and college is supportive.

I'm doing MCA from this University and the quality of teaching and experienced faculty was the reason to choose this also this course is in demand. The curriculum is updated regularly and includes all the recent developments in the field which makes us job ready.

Placements are also good as per my view but one needs to work hard and improve his/her personal skills. 20-30% of students who applied got placements with the highest package of around 5-6 lpa and average around 3-4 lpa. The college was also very supportive throughout the session.

The campus of NEHU is quite well .Especially the management department is most well structured. The campus has Wi-Fi facility all over the campus, it has central library ,health center, open gym for students, badminton court, football ground and cricket ground. It has hostel both inside the campus and outside the campus. The good thing about Meghalaya is that it has very good and clean natural environment free from pollution and chaos.

I am an MBA student with Finance specialization. The management department provide double specialization facility .Most of the teachers and prof. are from outside state and experienced in their field field. We also have online and offline seminar, workshops, activities ,fest, cultural program.

The university is not so well in terms of placement. In management most of the companies come from marketing and HR field. Only a few banks come for Finance and banking specializations .The average package is 3-4 LPA .

The campus is very peaceful. Its is best suggestion for the nature lovers students who want to enjoy their college life with peace .The local people are also good and they speak very well Hindi and English so there is no communication barrier. Even the place is very safe for girls compared to other central university.

Academics wise, i think the syllabus can be updated. EEE course is not offered, Robotics can be introduced . The practical and hands on training need to be improved. Students should be made through the basics like Java, C++, Python.

Placement need to be improved on the whole, right from creating awareness, training, and inviting companies. During 2019 our highest package was around 5-6 lakhs in Robert Bosch. More students should be trained in such a way they get placed in core companies or company related to their course. On the contrary more students are placed in Non-IT roles with basic salary.

For Academics Ranchi women's college is good as they will start and end there course on time there semester will be of 6 months all the biotechnology faculties are good and they impart their knowledge very well.

Placements are not that good in Ranchi women's college. Most of the placement will come for Bsc. IT. There they will get maximum package of 600000.My college was supportive but due to lack of companies in Ranchi we use to face issue.
