I am studying btech cse (cc-IBM) quality of teaching is good.This is specialization course therefore i had opted for this and yes it makes us job ready because cloud computing have future scope and i think it is updated when required.

Our college is supportive bt still less placement i am not graduate so can only tell vaguely i don't think that quality of placement is good .............................................................

The paramedical courses don't have placement s . But the teacher groom us for being professionals. Even we are posted in hospital for clinical training that enchanes are practical knowledge . Even the college has signed MOU with various organisations with enchances are job prospectives.

Campus Life is amazing here. The campus has good environment with greenery everywhere. There are big and small events happening all around. There is fest held named 'Kalagoonj'every year. The students also go for medical camp. There is lake and cafe which is the good location for the photography.

The fully Residential RK VALLEY campus is designed to have all facilities that are necessary for student life. Hostels are very comfortable . Both outdoor and indoor sport facilities are available. For student need there are shopping malls, canteens, Bank with atm centres, hospital etc., Class are well equipped with projectors audio facilities and comfortable. In laboratories equipment is not so good . But Wifi facilities are good. Students are served with hygienic food but premises are average.

I am pursuing Btech First degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering because i am very much interested in studying about electricity related devices from childhood. Teachers are well experienced and interact with students very well.Yes, Curriculum is updated every year and includes all recent developments. I don't think what we study makes us job-ready . We have to improve our soft skills in addition to that.

I am to glad to have many placement opportunities in our college like Career development cell. Major companies like TCS, INTEL and WIPRO are coming for recruitment drive. Only 10 - 30 percent students are recruited. Highest salary package is 18 lakhs per annum for ECE student.Average salary offered is 3-6 lakh per annum. Placement process is first there will be an exam for qualification and then an interview . I dont think that is easy.

Our campus life is best for Boys.. Because, boys are given most freedom whearas girls have some restrictions not bad but for their safety only. But there is no Outing as campus far from town. Students are from different states but they interact with each other, teachers and support staff also interact with students very well and help students in every aspect they can. Campus is 14km far from town almost in forest. It is safe as it has hospital, police station,security staff etc.

Talking about infrastructure and facilities of the college, campus is quite big and is being extended even further. Labs are well equipped and classrooms have great ambience. World class library with ultra modern digital facilities. Hostels are great with all possible facilities and are quite clean as well except a few old ones. Coming to the academic scenario of the college, most faculties of all the departments are great. Most of them are from top engineering colleges themselves and that is the main reason why the institute has been able to make a competitive environment within a very short span of its foundation. One expect which I filled needs a lot of improvement is placements. Most of our alumni are placed and some of them if achieve great heights by getting into PSU and executive position of many top level organisations and companies. We have a smart classroom and well-equipped laboratories for all engineering departments. The quality of the food is good at our canteen.

I completed my mechanical engineering at this college. All the faculties are very knowledgeable and supportive. Our syllabus is mainly decided by Gujarat Technology University. We have a compulsory Industrial Visit in 1st year and 3rd year. My college also provided International Internship and Foreign Exchange Program. Placement is average at my college because it is a very new college in Vadodara. In the Engineering Department, Around 50 to 60 % of students placed every year. Staying at hostel is not mandatory and there are pgs availible outside the campus. Mess food is not very good. All facilities that SMIT provides are great in the sectors of sports and recreation. New infrastructure are getting added every passing year.

I did mine project under Sandip Sir both major and minor he was very good and helpful. All teachers in EEE department are characterized by friendly behavior and ready to help attitude. Only the Digital Signal Processing class needs improvement.

Placements are improving every year and EEE department`s placements are generally over 92%. Internships are provided in reputed firms . SMIT has a rich alumni network. Maximum package ranges between 12LPA to 15LPA.
