The college has good infrastructure where the classrooms are good but washrooms are satisfactory. The library and the laboratory is also fine. The canteen is good as we get neat and clean food where different varieties are available for the food.

Placements at JIMS is very nice for those who work hard but for those who do not have skills does not get good placements rather it is difficult for those to take placements. Also, packages offered are normal in accordance to the industry.

The section of hostels where master degree students stays are better than the other. The rooms are well furnished. There are cafes which have come up inside the campus and lawns and fountain have been built recently.

Mtech at SMIT is comparatively easier than Btech however the Mtech sessions are flooded with projects and research topics. The projects of Civil department are little adventerous and memorable compared to other. We go to different hilly regions and do camping at night and project in the morning sessions.
Placements
In Sikkim there are various projects and development works which are going on be it the Teesta Project or Railway projects or Air port or Hydro Electric power plants. And demand of civil and electrical engineers is high in these sectors. Many of SMIT students gets placed over here.

Yes, my college has most of the necessary infrastructure and facilities. The departmental library is wonderful and a treasury of many important books but the classrooms are not so tidy. Morover the washrooms of arts building are not hygienic at all.

The teachers are extremely helpful and supportive. The teacher-student relationship here is something the university can boast off. As a student of comparative literature I learned to read a text in a different way and discover the new dimensions of it. I actually have little idea about the career option so it's difficult for me to say if the study makes me job ready or not but all I can say that this study gives me immense joy.

The quality of placement is pretty well and our university is extremely supportive in this regard though I don't know such things in details so I'm unable to answer the questions asked here.All I can say that the students of engineering deoartments get exceptionally wonderful placements.

The college campus is a free and liberal space where you can gossip about everything from politics to literature and various art forms. But often students take advantage of this and get intoxicated in the campus. Incidents of sexual harassment also have been reported in the campus.

I am studying MCom in Finance and Accounting here. The professors here are talented and they clear your any kind of doubts. The curriculum is well with the time updated and includes all the practical case studies/real life instances in the curriculum. The placements are good enough for anyone who has the hunger for opportunities. Students do get placed in some companies or the other. The college has 3 Canteens, 1 Cyber room, 2 green benches and 2 grounds as soon as you enter the college. People are quite engaged in their activities like clubs, seminars, cell work, assignment,etc and are in rush. The campus never sleeps.

Yes, the infrastructure of my college is decent enough and students are provided the required facilities. There has been few developments infrastructure wise and also new facilities have been added making it easier for the students. Drinking water facilities, air conditioners , clean toilets and spacious classrooms have been provided to the students. Yes the college seem to have some uquipment but there is a shortage and the labs and smart boards are very limited and used very rarely , and thw wifi seems to have bad connection errors. But the when it comes to hygiene it is good.

I am studying Computer Science Engineering and the quality of teaching is poor and the curriculum taught here is also not up to the mark , and it doesn't make us job ready we have to fight among our peers to qualify for a job.

The placements are pretty low but good as per near local colleges , the average package is near 2 lakhs per anum of those students who are lucky to get jobs of 2 lakhs also , The placements are not easy as few companies come and the competition rises in them.
