Atmaram sanatan dharam college which is located in dhaula kaun, New delhi has a okay infrastructure being a government college,all the basic facilities are available and has very helpful staff, most important college societies are very active. Moreover college campus is always clean especially washrooms Whereas Arsd is ranked 14 by nirf.

I am currently studying b.com and i am 2 year student. Quality of teaching is good and moreover the staff is helpful. Commerce faculty of our college is good. Teaching and office staff is very helpful.

Since i am a 2 year student and i am not much aware about placements in our college. But students can apply in many companies as a part of campus placement with an average salary of 25000p.m.to 60000p.m.

The academics and teaching methods are bearable. Although the English of the faculty is mind blowing, they need improvisation on their teaching skills. The curriculum is updated and does include the recent developments.

There is no provision of any sort of placements offered by the college or university. Students often have to loiter post their graduation in search of jobs. The college or University is not bothered to take care of that.

The premise has a garden and a canteen and nothing more than that. We do have a few extra curricular activities like painting and singing competitions. Yes, the campus is very safe and in the middle of the city area.

I choose this stream because I love computers and programmings and in this college the chances of getting a job is much in CSE Department than the other departments. The quality of placement is well. IN this college every year almost 60% to 70% students get placement. Every year the CSE students get most number of placement from this college than the other departments. The average salary offered around 4 lakhs to 7 lakhs per year. The college campus is great to me. There are two grounds for playing cricket , football, badminton etc. The campus is clean and beautiful . The campus is not huge but beautiful. There are a few clubs for cultural, sports, technical activities. All the staffs are good enough , the tecahers are great. The location is good , because you can reach Sonarpur Railway Station within 5 minutes and also you can reach the Garia Metro Station within 15 minutes .

The campus is not so big but its good enough. There are two playgrounds for playing cricket, football, badminton etc. The whole campus is clean and maintained. Our college is know as "Mallamukallille sundari" ( Beautiful girl at the top of the hill). Our college is well know it's infrastructure with beautiful scenarios. The academic facilities like labs,classrooms,libraries are well maintained. We have a good and hygiene canteen with good food and music. We also have a good playground more than about 2 hectares.

The academic side of our college is also good. In most of the university results the college will be in the best 20 colleges. Our department Chemical Engineering won first place in Kerala for the best pass percentage. Our college also has university toppers. Even though some staff are not upto to mark. Some are lazy. it may differ with each departments. Some departments are more strict some are liberal. This affect the students variously.

According to my knowledge our college has more placements this year. Above 30 companies had visited our college for placement. Students of CS IT EEE and EC are get placed. But the non core it departments are very poor in placements like Chemical metallurgy mechanical. The placement cell in our college works perfectly but as I mentioned they are only concerned about IT field. They had told us they are trying to bring companies for non IT departments but till now none has arrived.

Speaking honestly I didn't get a good college life. we didn't have an enjoyment in campus. The management is only interested in academics. College events are only for the name sake. Student council didn't have any role in decision making even their suggestions are not considered.

Academics here are mostly similar to that of Tier-1 college . In the first year syllabus is mostly same irrespective of departments. But you have to study courses that you will feel like useless and are not related to your field. Also the college provieds opportunity to students to do a minor in any course from any department 2nd year onwards. Though almost all the profs are experienced but teaching style of most of them is boring. So the students mostly learn by themselves.

As I am still in first year, I don't know exact figures about placements but as I have heard,the placements are really good every year with most of students getting placed. Though the percentage of placements is above 85 for all departments, packages do vary. The CSE department students gets high packages in good number as compared to other,followed by ECE. Average package generally goes around 7-8 lpa ,highest being 40-45 lpa.

It mainly depend on you how you want to enjoy your college life. The college has many extra-curricular and technical societies which regularly participate in national level competition. College also conducts a lot of fests annually , The frontrunner being PRAGYAN and FESTEMBER. The college campus is located on the outskirts,22-23 km from the city , so you are kinda disconnected. But due to good local transport ,buses run to and from the city throughout the day. So you can Hangout on weekends.
