I am an civil engineering student, quality of teaching here is average. Here, at our college curriculum is not very much updated it was as before 10 years, no new technologies. But according to syllbus i think it makes us job ready.

Quality of placement is not good for civil engineering department, it is good for it, computer and mechanical little bit. Avg salary according to me is 1.8 lakh to 3 lakh per annum. College is supportive during placement drives.

Campus life here is very good, many cultural events are happening here. You can explore very much in cultural activities. According to study it doesn't sound very good. But in other event it is very good. All cultural activities are happening here.

The infrastructure of our college is good and smart . All the facilities almost available. We have big library. All the classrooms are pretty good, the sitting arrangement is also good. The laboratories are updated and good. We have two playground . The whole college campus is under WiFi zone which is provided by or college and which is free. We have a good canteen , the foods provided fro canteen is hygienic. But the major problem is that , there is no hostel service available .

I am studying Electrical Engineering here. Because this is a core subject and the chances of getting a good job is higher . The curriculum is updated almost. The quality of teaching is great. The faculties are really great, the style and method of their teaching is so good , they take care of us and the teachers are so frank so thats why we can share our doubts and problems easily .

Average the placement quality is good. Every year the number of placed students is different, almost every year 60% to 65% students get their placement . The average salary package offered is near about 5 to 7 lakh. Our college is so supportive . They hosts seminar before placement process. Many good and reputed companies come to our college year. A huge percent students of CSE get placement from the total students , where the other departments are week .
Campus Life
The campus life of our college is so much good . The campus is not so big but overall it is well . We have two playgrounds for all type of sports activities . We have also few clubs for sports , cultural, activities. The campus is clean and maintained. But there is one major problem that is no hostel facility is available there. The location is nice , within 10 minutes there is Sonarpur railway station , within 15 minutes there is Garia metro station .
It was a good experience overall.

Though the campus area is very small , still it has all the facilities a clg should have including ACs , hygiene environment, labs , etc. Sports facilities of the clg are really poor. There r no hostels available but there are a number of pgs for boys and girls in the nearby area.

Academics in IITM is really good. I'm studying bba and teachers in my department are well versed with what they r teaching and syllabus is also up-to-date. You will be provided with online as well as offline notes and study material.

Placements are average. Though there are not many big companies that come for BBA graduates. Still you'll get a satisfactory package for the jobs available. Companies come for a number of profiles including finance, PR, etc

Teachers & other staff are very supportive & helpful. No need to worry about their support. Location of college is about 0.5km from the main bus stop. Traveling to college is comfortable if the student is around 6km radius. Our college also has an ambulance to take care of health emergencies. They are college vans if the student stays very far & can't manage public transport. Prices seemed to be little high in my opinion.

Yes, my college has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. All the facilities are available and some are well maintained . WiFi is available in the building and hostel. Smart boards are also available but teachers even use board to explain. Living space is cleaned regularly and hygenic is maintained. The concerned staffs keeps a track on it. Previous year new menu was interested for breakfast and tiffin but lunch is almost same but it is good as per the location. Food is healthy.
