College Infrastructure
Yes, almost all the necessary infrastructure is available in our campus. Facilities like smart board displays, library is also available for the students. Sport ground is common for the whole university. WiFi connection is the fastest in the university.
Academics
Teachers are quite enthusiastic in our college as there are 3 more new trades in our college available so the number of staff members have also been raised. There are also teachers who are not that serious about the studies but i guess everywhere there are teachers of this kind.
Placements
Placement have not been an issue in our college as students are quite brilliant and aware of the circumstances they study. Companies which are the best in their field such as Infosys, Cognizant and Tcs are the one in which students gets themselves placed but these companies did not arrives at our campus but we had to go to other college's campus.
Campus Life
Best part about the college was the weather and its location, as we all know the beauty of Himachal and Shimla. There were many instances which I loved the most such practice times of fests and roaming around the campus with friends.
I can say thet this is a one of the best college.

The infrastructure id very good with the facilities of student lounge, dance room, well maintained ground, and greenery of this campus is joy to eyes. All the facilities are very good , like library, auditorium, cafeteria, etc .

The academics are very good ....and teachers are really helpful and each student is provided with a mentor.... And academics aims at development of each student. The course is designed by the teacher after proper discussions.

Placements are very good....and big brands likd itc,amazon ,asian paints, aditya birla and many more comes to hire the young talent from the college. The highest packages go upto the amount of 14 lakh per annum.

Campus life here us very good ..and college provide lot of opportunity to enjoy your college life and pursue your dreams in collaboration with enjoying your hobbies at the same time. It gives you life time experience of education.

The infrastructure of the uni is very good as compared to other colleges I visited with the exception of 1st year hostels which are under renovation and will eventually become world class. The food in most of the hostels are good enough but the whole College is vegetarian.
Academics
The attendance required is 75 which is quite a lot but the teachers allow some room for error. The labs are also very practical which makes holistic development of the student appropriate to the current situation of the world.
Placements
Seeing the record of my seniors I can easily say most of the top companies come here and hire quite a lot of students. Companies like TCS and Microsoft mass recruit students from our college making it very easy to get placed.
Campus Life
The campus life I think is the best thing about our college and the activities here are in abundance. The societies and the sports are a lot plus the fests and events happening everyday is a very exciting thing.

The Courses are well explained by highly qualified teachers.Practicals are held almost everyday.Teachers are very friendly and helpful,they help you even if you have any doubt relating to academics outside the campus.

You can easily get a job from the campus if you work a bit hard,The minimum salary offering is RS. 1.92 lacs per annum which may go up to as high as RS. 12 lacs per annum. Companies like Microsoft and TCS have also been hiring from our college.

The college campus has provided maximum facilities for the utility of students. However, some of the facilities are outdated and are not consistently taken care of like the gym equipments. The management block needs a seperate canteen of its own and the association room should be used by the students frequently.

I'm studying Mcom international business. The quality is teaching is good but requires polishing with time. The same ppt learning method should be improvised with more practical activities in the classroom. The curriculum is very generic and is nowhere getting us job ready for the future. There should be more of internships and apprenticeship than theory to understand corporate.

The quality of placements for Master's is extremely poor. If you are a BBA/Bcom student you will get good options to choose from but Master's hardly gets placed. The highest package offered for Master's was 4.5 lpa. The placement team is hard working and very driven to make the students prepared for placements but they are bringing in very less companies.

Mount Carmel College is known to have a vibrant campus. There are different activities going on everyday from bake sale friday to cosplay dress up days. The students are very energetic and willing to be a part of the events. The support staff is helpful too. The location of the college is very posh as its in Vasant Nagar. The area around college has pg, hostel, mess, stationary shop, cyber cafes, eateries, etc.

Some Faculty are very good and some are gaining experience. But I dont think I shoud rate my Faculty Teachers. The department is well organised and conducts session for students studying in other depts. The teachers even Principal Sir is very friendly. He knows students by name. Rajdhani College have one of the Most Active Placement Cell. They annually organise AVSAR, their Internship fair and almost 3-4 Companies visit every semester to recruit. Taking about the Recruitment process, I personally have seen that no one is judged on the basis of marks but they are judged on the basis of their Excellence. Average Package is almost 7-8 L annually. And the faculty supports your excellence in the field. They will help you out if you are stucked in anything.
