The infrastructure in PSIT is quite good. When I first entered the college I was slightly worried as all I can see was unpainted brick walls but as I explored the campus, I discovered that it's quite good and probably the best in the city. Every room is well equipped with benches and every room in the campus is air-conditioned During college tour we were taken to the computer labs and science labs and I must admit that they all were well equipped with all the necessities. Hostels have Wi-Fi.

I am pursuing B.Tech in IT here. The faculties are well educated when it comes to core subjects. One of the best things here is the higher authorities can be very easily approached here and they hear you out and try to resolve your issue. PSIT follows AKTU course and it is fully updateLike it is said every coin has its other side, I have come across some faculties which lack the ability to convey the information and they are not fluent in english which creates a kind of barrier in communication.

Before my admission, I asked some of my seniors about the placement scenario here and almost all of them gave a good response. Though you won't get too high packages here but still if you hustle enough then there are high chances that you can grab a handsome package of around 8-10 LPA. The best thing about placement drives is that the number of students getting placed is quite high and the ratio has shown a good increase over the past few years.

Its been almost a year in this college but sadly there's no wow factor when it comes to campus life. The only free time we get is the lunch break!. Hostel life is also not too amazing and don't compare it with any of those hostel life web series... it contradicts them. Students are not allowed to step outside the hostels as soon as the clock ticks 6:00p.m. which is very unfair considering college timings which is 9-5.

I'm studying MBA and i would rate 4.5/5 for teaching. we have lecturers who have completed PhDs in different streams. yes it's not like any govt University where they teach the old stuff, lpu comes up with new level knowledge and teach their students.

we have good placements as well, but most of the companies which acquire students are marketing and sales based. the avg salary is around 3-4 L p.a. The highest package was 46L per annum, the person was selected in Microsoft.

LPU is far more different from any other Universities i know, the culture here is epic. not only academics we have many cultural events and sports events and DJs as well. the location is very safe , the security maintain a z level security. for any emergencies we have lovely hospital and they also provide ambulance facilities.

Well, the cleanliness is really well maintained and the overall infrastructure is astonishing but there is a general lack of places where you can actually sit and spend time with your friends. There are a few, but mostly too noisy because of constant dance practice and other work. The rest of the places are 'forbidden' to sit and security will force you to go somewhere else.

I am an undergrad in Biomedical Engineering. The quality of teaching surpasses average but fails to go beyond that. Our curriculum is good yet there is a lack of proper training in our own curriculum rather provisions for training in curriculum, not of our own is very persistent.

Placements are really good, but for only a handful of courses. There is general tendency for a unified placements process as in, students are placed into a single stream rather than dividing them into streams they are studying or wish to study.

Major complaint is that the College doesn't feel like College, more of a school ambiance. There is a constant scornful attitude among certain staff and security to the students. The whole purpose of a college that provides holistic development gets destroyed when you are sort of locked in a box. A definite SEXIST approach to many of the regulations that the college has implemented. Moral policing is at times, weird and abusive, some guards, find it normal to push inside privacy of people.
