AEC has all the modern lab equipments.Recently the workshops are being renovated.Being the oldest Assam govt. Engineering college,it has all the essential things an engineering undergraduate needs.High speed internet is available in hostels.
Academics
I'm currently pursuing B.tech in Electronics and Telecommunication engineering.The professors are qualified and many ot them have their PhD from reputed IITs.the present curriculum is under Scholarships are provided to meritious students.
Placements
Placements are average.But it varies every year depending on the companies that come.average package is around 5-6 lakhs.The highest package this year was 17 lakhs which was bagged by a CSE Student.AEC also has campus placements with PSUs coming every year.
Campus Life
The campus life is okayish.Recently new street lights and dustbins have been installed.The only issue is boundary.
Found many life long friends and a great fun experience...
College Infrastructure
Yes, the college offers all the necessary infrastructure including a vast campus, different buildings for different schools of engineering, massive auditoriums, smart classroms, well equipped labs, and cafeterias and sports ground to enjoy and hang out. The college provides a good speed wifi for all students and all classes are well equipped as well. The hostels are nice as well. So to sum it all up, college provides a good infrastructure and environment.
Academics
The academics of the college are not up to the mark you would expect it to be being an international standard institute. It is just satisfactory in terms of professors giving attention to the students and providing just a normal education. Some teachers are exceptional as they know well how to provide education to the next generation of engineers but most are just there trying to cope up with their jobs and not particularly interested in helping students to develop interest in their subjects.
Placements
The college provides a cent percent placement as they are really serious about maintaining that tag to attract admissions . The institute provides a chance for students to get placed in their dream companies if they really are capable for it. Otherwise the mass placement works. The thing is that the college does its best in providing all the companies for students to select from based on their talent but they lack a little behind in providing a quality education as they focus on number of studen

Good quality of placement are giving in campus selection and after get outer placement as well because of good amd reputable college in our allahabad.seventy percentage of placement given before 3 round .

The hostel is spacious. There's no provision for air conditioner, but you can have air coolers of your own. The classrooms are equipped with projectors. Laboratories have all the required infrastructure. The campus is cleaned regularly.

In first year, one won't have any exposure to their branch course , since all the branches will be having same courses only. The teaching is nice and the profs are knowledgeable. The curriculum was updated recently inorder to keep up with the changing environment.

In chemical engineering, the placement stats are usually above 90% and it has been 100% in the recent past. The highest paying job is around 29 lpa. The average being around 10-12 lpa . The highest is for non-core sector.

Best feature: Highly qualified alumni , who have achieved great heights in various fields. You've ample of options to join any club, of your choice ranging from tech to commercial field. The college is situated 15 kms from the Junction ,but it's spread over a vast area of 800 acres.

This college has sufficient infrastructure required in a college and also provides good facilities. classrooms, laboratories equipped with projectors,smart boards,Wifi. Library is ok. There is also a huge ground for cricket, football, volleyball and also a badminton Court. the whole campus is hygenic and clean.

I am doing btech in mechanical engineering and the college provides all the facilities to do that. The quality of teaching is good, in some cases ok. The curriculum gets updated and also it's in touch with the recent technologies and developments.
Placements
The quality of placement offered is ok not so good but fine. Approx 30% students are placed and the highest package offered goes around 8 lacs p.a. but generally IT branch student's get placement a lot ie. There placement ratio is a bit higher than that of other branches. Overall the average salary offered is 2-3 lacs p. a.

Students, teacher support is fantastic , teachers are very supportive. The location of college is also good , in the middle of the city .

yes, my college is fully equipped with all the facilities and that too well updated.Each and every class room has a projector installed.we have two libraries with huge collection of books.talking about sports facilities we have place for both indoor and outdoor games.it also contain gym.

The quality of placement is quiet good.Various of IT and well reputed companies such as TCS ,HCL,Infenion, Mitsubishi ,mahindra comes for campus selection.The department monitors every student so that they are good to go for interview procedure.

Library timings are not very flexible. Class rooms are not in proper condition. Laboratory is not equipped with up to date machines and also some of the models are not in working condition. Water coolers are not working properly

I'm pursuing a B.TECH degree in mechanical engineering. Some of the professors are not able to satisfy the academic needs of the students in classroom. Some of them fail to grasp the attention as well as interest of the students.

Number of students placed in companies through campus placement is decreasing. Highest package was offered to a student of Electronics department- 17 Lakhs per annum. Many of the students were placed in companies with starting packages below 5 l.p.a.

Yes, but the laboratory facilities can improve a little bit. Also the toilets should be kept cleaner. Our labs smaller and should be made bigger to accomodate more students. Also the Wi-Fi facilities should improve.

I am studying electronics and telecommunications engineering. The quality of teaching is good. The teachers are helpful and the curriculum is more or less updated. I think the course should be amended to bit to make it job oriented.

The placements have become a little less in the last few years. The high salary packages are rare. Only average salary packages are available. However IT companies have been frequently coming in the last few years and it is improving.

This college has very fine infrastructure. All is well maintained by the institution. College buildings, classrooms, labs are quite good with all facilities. Hostels are clean and neat. Mess food is very nice and hygiene.

I am studying B.Tech second year in Civil Engineering, because I am interested in it. The quality of teaching is outstanding, faculty teaches very well and give assignments to solve for the complete understanding of the subject. The cirriculum is updated.

Placements are quite good in this college. The percentage of students placed every year is more than 60% , many other will go for APPSC, UPSC, AE, AEE, ISRO exams and crack them. Placement cell is very effective in this college. Placements are very pleasants and cool.

It is really beautiful and filled with latest journals and books. Our classes are equipped with WiFi and smart boards with projectors and they are very well maintained. Recently we are in developing condition, new building are under construction ( ie PG hostel and nano technology lab ) . We have separate laboratory of physics, chemistry, well furnished Workshops. All are not well maintained overall infrastructure is good.

i am in civil branch in 2nd semester, i think we are not getting a quality education as per our expectations, now. Hoping for the best in coming semester. We are following the latest curriculum as per given by JUT.

Placement scenerio is totally depended on branch, some branch have very good placement ratio ie metallurgy and some are in average condition ie. Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science etc. Approx 50 to 60 % student get their college placement.
