College Infrastructure
Infrastructure is great. The library is enough big and is the best place to study in the entire college. Sports club is moderately active. Many intra and inter college tournaments are played. There is a gym also.
Academics
I'm a second year student majoring in geology. The quality of teaching is good. The faculty is well versed with the core subject and the GE and AECC teachers are okay. The bottom line is you have to study on your own but the professors will always be there to guide.
Placements
For my department, i.e geology the placements is nil for bachelors. Though during masters there is a significant change but still it's not the best. You have to crack competitive exams and qualify job interviews to get job in this field.
Campus Life
North Campus is always buzzing with colleges in every corner. Hansraj College though not the centre but the campus life is very happening with all the events, seminars, workshops going around everyday. Fest time is the best time.

Our course curriculum depend upon AKTU , kiet is not atanomous college, it is under AKTU so it is not updated according to industry but there's a good faculty and staff at the college, exam is not self center, you have to go to other college during exams.

When in it comes to placement kiet is the best choice for you , in my college regular job fair and on campus drive and campus interviews are done in college, students got campus placements in various mnc companies.

Placements in technical branches are quite well as compare to non technical branches. The average package is 4 to 5 lakhs, and highest package for session 18-19 is 11 lakh. Mechanical branch is better than other branches.

Great academic and non academic features are provided by our college. Teachers are too much supportive. The environment is great. Labs are not so much updated but yeah we can say its well. The whole campus is full of greenery, it's too safe and enjoyable for students.

The college campus is not that big but quite clean and green. The classrooms are non-AC but well ventilated. Each department has its separate library. There is also a central library in the campus. There is also a great scope for sports in the campus. The college is affiliated to Punjab Technical University. The hostels are decent but the mess food is not good.

I am studying B.tech In computer science. The faculty is a mix. Some professors are really good in their subjects, some are fresher in their job. The course curriculum is decent. It was update in 2018 with our batch. So, it includes the recent technological developments. There is a lack of practical exposure though.

The on campus placements are very good. There are many product based companies visiting the campus as well as a lot of mass recruiters. The major recruiters are Amazon, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Infotech, IBM etc. The average package is 4 lpa. The highest package was 31.77 lpa by amazon. The placements are overall really decent!

The campus life is great. There are many events occurring every week in the campus. Chandigarh is about 20 km away from the campus. The college life is decent. The main techno-cultural event “Parivartan ” occur every year. The college is surrounded by decent market from where products for daily use can be bought. The location is not the best, but quite decent!

Good infrastructure it has neat and clean campus with good environment. It has Student Activity Centre which has Indoor sports court and gym, a sports complex and a swimming pool. It also has shopping complex or meeting daily requirements. Hostel is little disappointing and WiFi only upto 1GB upper limit.

Some faculties are good and some are not . Quality of teaching is average. College is autonomous so it has flexibility with syllabus but follow all the guidelines f AICTE and MHRD as it is a CFTI. Laboratories in CSE is good .

Yes, the college has all the necessary requirements needed for a student in his graduate or post graduate life. The classrooms have properly furnished desks and benches with ventilators helping the proper air flow in and out of the classrooms. The library is well equipped with textbooks and reference books for any student in the college. Hostels are properly maintained. All the hostels are under use but the maintenance is a concern. There nothing hectic as such. We have vivas and practical exams before theory exams which starts one month prior to theory exams. In one year we have two theory exams one in May-April and second in Nov-Dec. Practicals and vivas exam are chilled there is nothing like failing in vivas and practical.one can fail only in the worst condition.

One of the important part of the degree. As from the very 1st year of engineering we work hard to maintain our grades just to get placement in the final year and the college provides one of the best placements. The quality of teaching is good but some teachers use other language medium to teach us example in their own language. The placement scenario is good to date. A good number of students are placed every year. This year a CSE graduate got the highest package of 17 LPA. The placement process was handled by the TPS cell quite smoothly. The college was supportive enough.

This college is totally fine with ancient infrastructure. There aren't very much facilities. So it should be better to have a great opportunity to work in any textile related posts. Also in here so many equipment for survival of the course. Construction of machines are not desirable for supplying the products. But those are still stands constantly on the way.
