Their is no placement at all. Infact no company came at that time for hiring. Their is no special team of professionals who train students for job interviews and future planning help. The quality of placement is very poor.

Campus spreads in very large area. It has different things like canteen, basketball court, badminton court, sports field, garden having beautiful flowers... We can use the sport field also badminton and basketball court best part of our college....

I am a mechanical engineering student there and all my teachers are the experience one and will qualified after every semister there is a screening for teaching performance. The curriculum is not that updated with recent technology it contains all the basis of the course. Our students really doesn't make us job ready but yes it do make our foundation of course ready. So overall academic is good

The college offers very nice placements to computer science engineering branch as compared to the other engineering branches. Computer science students are placed in 3rd year only with a good package. I would say for CSE it is the best college for placements.

I'm doing electronics engineering. One of the reason is because I didn't get the filed I needed but I got selected in this institution for electronics engineering and I don't want to miss apportunity so that is why I took it.

There are so many sells companies comes and they have so many opportunities. Almost 50-60 percentage of student get placed every year who sit for the placements. Highest Salary offer is around 12 LPA and average salary offered is around 3 LPA.

The Infrastructure of the College is quite fabulous . Campus size is 52 acres . Irrespective of having a good infrastructure they lack in providing the facilities of A.C because of the huge crowd . They lack in providing the projectors for presenting the PPT .

The Academic is quite little bit mediocre ,I would say because of the quality of the teaching staff don't know how to interact with students . Around 30% teachers don't have any knowledge of their subject .

ISM's infrastructure is very good. All the departments have their own buildings and laboratories. In sports, there are two grounds one each for football and cricket and are equipped with lights. There is a Olympic size pool, indoor badminton courts, squash, TT table as well as two gyms in SAC(sports activity centre). The new library is one of the largest in the country. The college also has a health centre, post office, ATMs etc.

Faculty is well qualified and have good industrial connections too. The mining engineering department is one of the Asia's best. But only few of them teaches brilliantly. The cirriculum is undergoing amendments with AI and ML being added as the compulsory first year courses. But inspite of all this you need to work on your own with the help of your friends to become job ready and build your personality. The prepondace of extra curricular activities will help you.

The placements over the past few years are on the surge. In the year of 2019, almost 75 percent of the B.Tech students were placed. The highest CTC was around 40 LPA offered to a CSE student. The best thing about ISM is its campus. With his 365 acres of area it lies at the middle of dhanbad. The campus has canteens, subway, amul canteens and hostel canteens too which are open till 3 am. There is a large auditorium and an OAT. Being a football fan and able to play with friends at night under the lights was one of my favourite memories.

Campus life is to seen little bit small but when I am studying it is some what better . There are some clubs for cultural,sports , technical activities . There are two grounds for all type of sports activities . The location is so good , within 5 minutes there is Sonarpur railway station and within 15 minutes there is Garia metro station . Every time buses and autos are available from the main gate of the college campus .
