Labs are very good as the college is not too old . All the equipment and machines are new and are in proper working condition . classrooms have proper ventilation and proper seating arrangements . The library is one of the main assets of this college and books are always updated according to new conditions .

As this college is a government college , all the teachers re qualified . All of them are M.Tech holders from premier institutions and have cleared the SSC exam to get a job in this college . Teachers are very knowledgeable and supportive . and even seminars are organised on the regular basis in our college .
Placements
Placements were decent for last few batches . Nearly 95% of the students got placed in various MNC's and other technical firms . Well established companies like Maruti suzuki , Paytm , Wipro , Infosys , etc , visit the college every year and hire students with decent salary packages .

Well i am doing b.com computers this gives me opportunity to explore my interest, this course give a advantage in entering into IT field. The quality of teaching is not up to the mark. The curriculum is updated but need to develop in concepts and skills in explaining. This study doesn't make job-ready.

The quality of placements is good. Students having above 80% are placed,highest package offered is 4lakhs p.a to b.com honrs. The average package is around 2lakhs to 2.5lakhs p.a. The placements process is easy and well supported by college.

College has no hostels there are a few private hostels where students live in subhuman conditions...only choice is PGs where better home like conditions are provided and there are some gr8 PG owners with whom you would get hassle free services...but it depends on whose PG you are going to... choose carefully... college has facilities 20 years old which mostly we are not allowed... sports room has equipments but on using them students are being yelled on and abused by sports room authorities.....

Depends greatly on your department...in my department faculties treat students like secondary citizens and harass us in everything right from attendance to submissions...but faculties in other departments like civil, aero and mech have some great faculties with great knowledge and are especially kind... they actually go to lengths to help students...a friend of mine was unable to arrive at college and the mechanical faculty arranged submission for him at the faculty's home..lucky if you get them

Very low placements....a couple of MNCs come here and pick 2-3 guys out 400-500...T&P cell is a sham and does nothing everything on paper and nothing in reality...many companies in the past had blacklisted us... packages are average to below average

No life at all...if you overstay a minute in canteen or are caught outside you will be heckled and abused by authorities... instead of letting faculties gain knowledge to improve education they are sent out like security guards to gather students and put them in classes...the fests are boring and stupid... you are not allowed to sit in the library and learn...the principal is a madman who keeps making senseless rules and pressurizes students to follow it... completely demoralizing the students..

People might think the govt college infrastructure, facilities should be poor, but infact Anna university, ceg campus stands out in it with good facilities in the entire campus. Free Wifi is provided in the campus, even though its not speed enough but not bad either, laboratories with new equipment and sport center with almost all the neccessary items and students shows great interest in accessing this facielities since this is really helpfull for them. would give 4 out of 5 for the food hygine.

I studied Civil engineering, i would say quality of teaching is quiet impressive since the faculties who work in our college has tremendous experience in their back, so they know how to handle everything and they always keep them updated so that no compermise is made during the teaching. i would say there is always a demand in civil engeering jobs, so i would say in the job aspect it should be a problem but aat the end of the day it depends only on indivual talent and how they express it.

Quality of placement is area of concern for all the students, but in CEG its good that they have some good placement centeres availbe in the campus that provide the students with free training for the campus and almost 80% of the students will be placed in every batch, to be honest that shows the pride of our college.. Average salary for all fresher would be 25k-30k, placement process i would say it is easy, the student who with bit of talent and hardwork can crack it easily.

Its will be very odd that if you find someone from CEG who does not like his/her college life. Students have access to almost eveyrthing from studeis, ports , entertainment they can use all of this and every year there will cultural fest that will be conducted so students can participate in that Location is at its best center of chennai. I am pursuing b.tech in ECE from Thapar University. The academics are great. Faculty is very supportive and knowledgeable. There are always ready to take your doubts. though, The course curriculum for my stream in first year is a bit boring and focuses on Theory mainly. There are regular workshops organised by our college to get us acquainted with the industry environment.

The quality of placements is excellent here. There is a lot of industrial exposure given to us. The highest package so far is 41 LPA. College infrastructure is improving day by day.Currently construction of new hostels is going on.Recently smart boards are installed in classroom.It contains huge area around 450acres,having gym,clubground,separate branch buildings,canteen ,bank,post office ,separate hostels for boys and girls ,central library and many more.

Faculties are well experienced and also new faculties from IITs are recruited in past year.Here you can get pretty good environment for GATE.Mining is the only NBA accredited branch in our college.Latest method of teaching is used in our college i.e.smartboard and also they provide us PPTs for better understanding of the topic.

Placement scenario is not pretty good but 60% of the students get placed with average placements of 4.8lpa. The highest packages offered by Honda R&D is 10.12lpa. Here also few students get PPO from TATA steel of 10.11lpa.The lowest package offered is 3.33lpa by TCS.Placement process is pretty much easy and student friendly.

The campus life is average. There is no night canteen available and campus is not properly closed.It is 28km far from dhanbad but best part is that there is local train running from sindri to dhanbad station. You can get necessary things from Main gate as well as from Kandra and Sehrpur which is 2km from campus. Overall it is good but hostel entry timing for girls is 7:30pm.
