Value for money The college is definitely a value for money . All the efforts the college makes to get the students placed is inevitable. We are very happy to be a part of the college The cost , quality of education and sustainable development is quite good so I think the college is definitely value for money

College Infrastructure
For the most part BHU has all the necessary infrastructure but the only problem is it's not enough to support the amount of students in the campus. Classrooms are in a good shape for the most part are almost all of them are equipped with smart boards. The labs and WiFi are fully functioning and so does all the departmental libraries along with Central and Cyber library. There aren't many seats in hostels, only 30% students from each batch get hostel accomodation. The food is nutritious and clean
Academics
I'm currently studying BA Hons Economics. My subjects include Economics, Geography, History, Ancillary and language. The quality of teaching is average. The classes do run on time and the syllabus is completed on time but the professors are not easily available for doubt clearing and other educational needs. The curriculum is updated but some improvements need to be made regarding how it's organised into semesters. It prepares students to get research jobs for the most part.
Placements
For BA Hons Economics there's no placement to talk about except for some research opportunities that some students might get. Around 10% of the students get placed every year from a batch of 50 students. The highest pakage offered last year was 3 LPA for my course and the highest pakage overall was for the MBA course which was 18 LPA. The average salary offered to the previous batch was 22000 Rupees CTC. The placement is handled by the placement cell and they have made great progress.

The quality of teaching is good and faculty have good teaching as well as domain experience . In the curriculum a mandatory internship is there after every year which eventually makes the students industry ready .

College has a history of good campus placements with the highest package going up to 12 LPA and an average package of around 6-6.5 LPA from many MNC companies . Also you can build up your skills in IT courses .

Yes my college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment.According to recent inspection by NMC (regulate medical colleges) our college has all the necessary facilities.All though classes of medical College are arranged in particular department but our college has got 5 different lacture hall with AC facility. Every morning (MAPUNA GROUP) our cleaning staff clean whole campus including OPD.

i am a student of MBBS 3rd year at SMCH. As it is under state govt. and recognised by NMC education quality is of high class.Class room are directly monitoring by NMC and principal office by CCTV futage. All the curriculum are upto date as we are a part of CONTINUE MEDICAL EDUCATION (lifelong learner) we need to keep upto date our self.

As it is under state govt 100% placement in govt hospital with 35k salary monthly. Aslo we are rewarded with good scholarship while doing our internship. But for this you have to sign a bond with assam government

Honestly college is active in many activities from being arranging college week/sport week to freshers party and farewell party. All teachers and stafs are supporting. Only bad things i have noticed is that being 50year+ old college some part of infrastructure are old.

Quality of teaching is actually worth. Curriculum is updated to the latest syllabus floated by the university. Syllabus includes all the field of recent developments. Teaching here may fell apart a bit from what is required to get a good job.

On campus placement is good up to my level of knowledge. 100% placement is there as per the recent records of placements of this college. Highest salary package offered is nearly 55LPA. Average salary offered is around 8 to 9 LPA

VIT is famous for their placement. In civil engineering the placement is above 80% and students have environment to qualify Gate and other competitive examinations. The average salary offered in civil engineering is 7lakhs and placement process is smooth.
