College has a really good infrastructure and environment. The construction of classrooms is nice. There is a 3 floored library and nearly all required books are there. We have a good wifi connection. College is well maintained and canteen food is also hygienic.
Academics
I am studying BALLB as I am interested and aim to make a career in legal field. I aim at being a part of the intellectual property firms. The curriculum is updated and the way of teaching is very detailed. The study makes us job ready.
Placements
Placements opportunities are quite good. As much as I know people who score good cgpa are placed in better firms and have a good career. But there are opportunities for everyone. I haven't been in the placement process yet.

They dont give you practical knowledge only theoritical knowledge can be gained and you need to study a lot to get pass mark in internals. Good experienced staffs will be there, but they'll see partiality between people while teaching

Placement chair person will see partiality between the departments . There will be a lot of politics in placement. In my batch only half the population were placed, while all others are left unplaced.

Worst college life one can get. You may even become a psycho if you are a full time hosteller here. There are very strict rules to be followed inside hostel, phones are not allowed, no network connection, you can't even talk to your parents often. Literally, you need to live a life like a prisoner. They will not even give you leave if you are sick . They will ask for proof for every sick leave. Dresscode is very very bad.

i am doing my PGDM course in MSRIM college. The quality of teaching is really fantastic and good with very friendly teachers and staffs. They also cover all the aspects need with an upgradation in the field. Their teaching and training help us to go through the jobs readily.

they gave our seniors also a good placements not sure about this year may get some good placements too this year. almost 60 percent of our seniors were placed as of now.Nothing will be too easy and the faculties help us to get the hurdles done.

The college has adequately sized classrooms for all the departments. Laboratories are equipped well enough to provide students with necessary practical knowledge of the subject. It has a field of its own as well as a big library , in addition to good bathrooms. There are no common rooms or hostel for boys . There is though hostels for SC/ST and girls .

To be honestly clear , the college is like any other Government College . Lecturers are appointed by Government and they do not really care if you Excel or not. Barring 2 or 3 departments none of the departments try innovative ways of creating learning experience. But being one of the well known colleges of Odisha , it sure feels great to be saying that you study at BJB .

The quality of placement is abysmal and the placement cell merely exists to forward interview notices during the end semesters. Infosys and couple of more companies actually start some employment drives yet the placement statistics is not a common knowledge and I assume is pretty poor.

Well , nothing really happens in the college. There are no active societies of any kind and nor the college administration encourages anyway . So ,campus life is pretty boring if you don't have a friends circle .

I was interested in Electronics and Telecommunication and hence took up that course. The course includes a mix of all the subjects which is required to in the field, once the student has graduated. The faculty is highly experienced.

This college had a placement cell/committee which makes sure that each and every student gets placed. They provide with the necessary training and mock interview sessions which makes the student interview ready. The average salary offered was 4L/annum for electronics and telecommunication department.
