Placements in our college are very good,but can be even better.Mahatma Gandhi institute of technology has an average package of 7 to 8 lakhs per annum,with a highest package of 10 lakhs in the year 2023.Our college lectures are very much supportive in all the aspects.

I have never seen such a mesmerizing campus than Fergusson college campus. The college has vintage touch with modern facilities. There are gardens on the campus. Students usually spend more time in canteens than classes because canteen has very delicious food. You will find dustbins in each and every corner of the campus. Campus also has a big library with thousands of books. There are some hangout and recreational spaces as well.

I studied BA (Psychology majors) at FC. I finished my graduation in 2022. I chose FC because of the reputation of its psychology department all over Maharashtra. The faculty is very intelligent and supportive in your personal problems as well. The teachers are so friendly and approachable, they are always ready to help you. The curriculum is very interesting, and it also includes topics like field visits and compulsory internships.
Placements
Scope of placements for my department is much better than other departments. Our department gets better placements every year. The average package is between the range of 3.5-4L. Students mostly go for higher studies rather than placements, but some choose to work as well. I was hired as an HR executive by a famous company, and I will work there for some time and after 2 years I am going to pursue higher studies.
Campus Life
campus life is just amazing. Better than any other colleges in Pune. Everyone is friendly and there is lot of diversity as well.

Our college have all the necessary infrastructure and facilities like class room and laboratories in a good conditions, there is a biggest auditorium of our City and a well managed girls hostel. Living spaces and classrooms are clean and hygienic. There is a Library in the centre of our college campus which has various kind of Books related to different streams and subjects .

I'm doing masters in Botany science, quality of teaching is quite nice,our faculties are very supportive and kind ,they help us as much as they can and we all students appreciate them. Our curriculum activities, practicals, assignments, presentation and tests etc are going well, and I think it's making me job-ready.

In our college, we can see annual placements in different streams like physics, chemistry and botany also. Last placements was arranged around 15 days ago for students related to chemistry stream and currently we are waiting for it .

Our college campus has a largest area Full of greenery and beautiful flowers, in our college campus we can play various games and does nukkad natak so many times . Our college staff is very supportive, College's location is very easy to found and it's in a safe area .

The quality of placements of this college is one of the best features. Around 40-50 percentage of students get placements in good companies. The highest salary that was offered to student was approx 1crore which was offered to only one students.

Vignan University, which is located in Vadlamudi has a very good infrastructure which includes 4 different blocks for all the departments. There's one three storeyed central library which contains a lot of books and computers to study and to refer. Along with the large buildings, there are large amount of trees in the campus which gives the fresh air always. There are four different play grounds available for all the kinds of games and sports, apart from these there are two indoor stadiums.

Currently I'm persuing BTech in Bioinformatics. As I belong to biology background and I'm very much interested in genetics, I've got no option to choose but bioinformatics. The curriculum provides us to expose to the vast subjects which includes the genetic engineering and also Data Science and Analytics. Teachers are not well trained, as they are more interested in research than teaching. It's always our own will and wish to learn the things which will help us in future.

You'll definitely get a TCS job with a little amount of hard work but the remaining companies just give offer letters to you and "placement percentage" to college. The highest package is around 15 lpa and ofcourse these highest packages goes to CSE as no one cares about the other departments.
Campus Life
Apart from the studies, you'll definitely enjoy the college life. Every month there will be an event going on which may be sports or culturals. Students actively participate in organising these events, to dance, to act, to sing etc. College is in tenali road from guntur. The hostels here are safe and there's a multi-speciality hospital here a kilometre away.

The college has excellent infrastructure and provides all the necessary facilities that are accessible to everyone. The hostels are well maintained, although there is room for improvement in the food quality. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and every including library. Currently I am studying in the final year of my bachelor's degree that is BSc in economics. I took admission in this college because I had heard good reviews from peers, and I am glad to say that it does stand on its reputation. The curriculum trains you perfectly for future opportunities and makes you job ready.

Placements are also good. After finishing your bachelor's you can get around 5-6LPA and if you are exceptional in the academics then it can go beyond 10LPA as well. One of my senior was placed in a MNC with the package of 12 LPA.

College provides most of the facilities needed for the students. The campus is situated on a hill so there is lot of greenery on the campus. The hostels are also pretty good and food is tasty. The labs are equipped with all the modern equipment needed to perform various practicals. There is a huge library at the center of the campus which is open until 10pm at night. There are no time restrictions for the students living in hostels.

College needs to improve the curriculum for some branches like mechanical and civil. Some teachers are good but few does not have much experience in teaching so if you need to focus on self studies as well. Rest of the things are okay about the academics.
Placements
Lot of students get placed every year but the packages they get are not much attractive. I will advice to do extremely well in all the exams for getting an exceptional placement. The packages vary from 6LPA to 20LPA. Average package is somewhere around 7 lakhs.

Campus life is kind of interesting. College organizes different kinds of events every 2-3 months which is quite fun. there is music festival also where many famous singers and musicians come in the college.

A Review of Fergusson College
College Infrastructure
The basic infrastructure is pretty good and well maintained. All though the classes and the benches in the old 'historic' buildings have been the same since 1990's and could do with some renovation. Even the hostel needs a complete makeover as it is the same as it was back in 1990's. The library is well maintained and was one of my favorite places on campus.
Academics
I graduated with a Bachelor in Arts with a specialization in economics. The curriculum is pretty up to date but it could do with some practical knowledge. As for if the course makes me job ready? For some entry level job, yes. The quality of teaching is good.
Placements
Placements were very few as the demand for bachelors (Arts) fresh out of college is minimal. The highest salary package was 4-5 LPA. Not the best but not bad either. The process itself was fairly simple and the college was supportive.
It was great to review about my course and college.

Related to Physics department, the necessary equipments and physics related instrument are not available in the department, where as the department faculty are helpful and good. Minimum of sports facilities are available .

The quality of teaching is good, teachers here are well qualified. Generally in Physics department bachelors degree is not enough, expecting a job is unfair. Curriculum given is generally updated but it usually have a lot of changes

The quality of placement is average, not all the students got placed but it also depends on the student's knowledge and hardwork. The heighest salary package is 8 lack per annum for bsc physics. College staf is quite supportive regarding placements.

Jadavpur university is itself known for the brilliant placements that they provide. All the branches have very good placement records with the CSE branch having an average package of around 20 lpa. 85% of the students in our college get placed.

Library and Ground is great, but it doesn't have an auditorium, labs and all are new and nice, but most classrooms and furniture is old. Campus is in round shape adjoining cvs college, outside is chirag delhi so not so great area.

Faculty is massive for commerce and nice, teachers come on and off since they are busy with reasearch and all but most of them teach well though main thing is always self study, but faculty is average.

Placements are above average compared to other colleges of D.U, if you focus well you can secure around 6LPA package from audit companies in commerce field, even 20LPA is offered but practically maximum is around 12LPA

Something is always going on due to massive number of societies existing around 39, so it's fun and exciting to participate in events, ti watch musical/dramatics/NCC and dance society practice for events.
